My journey through my family history began as a project in 7th grade. At that point I had some names, and some locations. Through the years I have come to know so much more about these people that allowed me to be here today, and I'm passing those bits of information on to my own children. |
When I'm not traipsing through cemeteries taking pictures or looking for my ancestors, I am an elementary school administrator. One of my favorite field trips is one where we take the 2nd graders to a local cemetery to find the "famous" people we've learned about in Fort Collins history. For many of the students, it is their first trip to a cemetery.
This is all about connecting families, and documenting history for future generations. If you have information you'd like me to add to a memorial, just let me know. If you'd like to take over management of any of the people I'm not related to, I'd be glad to transfer management over to you.
**If you notice that some of my pictures are sideways or upside down, I'm guessing you're viewing them on an Apple product. I sometimes will use my iPhone if I don't have my camera with me, and for some reason it rotates pictures even if I rotate and save them correctly.

Otto Olaf Olson - Grandview Cemetery
He was the son of Peter John Olson and Lily Belle Olson. They are also in Grandview.
If possible, could you link them.
Peter John Olson #90099801
Lily Belle Olson #90099419
Thank you for anything you can do to connect them. Jackie.
|Sister Sonya||Ida Harding|
Tried to send additional edit info but now there's a captcha attached and it wouldn't let me. Just wanted to let you know that Ida was listed with her family in the 1860 census of Delaware, pike, pa, but was erroneously listed as Isaac at two years of age.

Thank you for adding the information to her memorial.
|JoAnn Kurtze||Millie Isabelle (Tune) Forsberg|
Thank you for the transfer. I have already started to add to her family.
|J. C. Acker||Clocker/Tedmon|
many thanks for the transfers...
I was wondering if you think the headstone photos of Memorial #56350076 and #55984528 are the same one just front and back? I'm trying to pair husband and wife. Thanks.

May I have your permission to download the photo of the gravestone of Arthur Martyn Mattoon (Memorial# 87339021)?
I would like to upload the photo into my Ancestry family tree.
