Retired law enforcement and military (Marines and Air Force Reserves) currently in a nursing career.|
I collect WWI, WWII and Vietnam era uniforms, medals, etc as my main hobby but also dabble in autographs and of course work on the family tree from time to time. Most of the memorials I have created are of family or very good friends. But, I also build memorials or write bio's for veterans who do not have a memorial or bio already built - but should have. I live in Tulsa, OK.

Hello. I see that you have this memorial. He is one of my cousins. Thank you for what you do. It really helps those of us who are researching our family history.

I could find no paperwork to tie them together. Think someone made some assumption s & ran with it. Sorry for the back & forth.

Ran into your work a lot today. You have done great work on three generations of my ancestors. I noticed on the above mentioned Robert George you do not have him fathering a son named Joseph. Based off ancestry I connected to the George's through William Trew who married Mary George daughter of Joseph George grand daughter of Robert. Any knowledge of this man:
BIRTH 1709 • Chester River, Kent, Maryland, USA
DEATH NOV 1756 • Third Haven Mm, Talbot, Maryland, United States

Your welcome. I was at Rural Cemetery and decided to drive through Hope while I was there. I stopped to look at a bird and it struck me to see if there were any Find A Grave requests. George, Lydia and their family were literally right next to my car door. I'll be going back there again (my phone data was used up so I couldn't get many more.) There are several Hollands throughout the cemetery, I'll be glad to get pictures of them for you.

Please be aware that I did not send the message. It came from Carolyn Stanton (#47153996). She is a possessive troll who thinks certain graveyards and al.com on-line obituaries are her personal domain. She sent a ranting message to me recently wherein she intimated she would inform my friends what she thought of me. If you received the above message I apologize for any offense it may have caused. Actually not family. Richard was engaged to my mother to be when he went MIA. I obtained the pictures and the last letter he sent to my mom after she passed in 2009. My older brother, born in 1949, was named Richard in his honor. My mom lived in East St. Louis at the time and I don't know how they met but probably at church as they had the same religion.
