RE: obits
Obits may be added, but not as photos. Obits need to be sent to the person who created/maintains the memorial for them to add to the memorial in the bio area. Adding them as a photo is a DEFINITE no-no where Find A Grave is concerned.

RE: Joe Thomas
I did not add them either and received a message from "Clan Diggers Genealogical Society" page here at Find A Grave telling me the obit had been added and if I wanted to remove it to do so. Adding obituaries as photos is against Find A Grave Guidelines. If the person who created/maintains the memorial(s) wants to remove them, they can't when someone else has added them.

Sounds as though I really should get Admin here involved since it seems as though there is more than one person involved in this on your end.

RE: Joe Thomas
I do not feel as though I should have to spend my valuable time asking you to remove something you should never have added to begin with. Please check your account and remove accordingly.

RE: Joe Thomas
Again, I ask that you delete the obituary you posted at his memorial. I asked on March 23, 2014 and it is still there. I cannot delete it as I did not add it. I do not wish to contact Find A Grave Administration regarding this matter, but will if forced to do so.

RE: Joe Thomas
Thank you for the photo of this cousin's marker.

In regards to the obituary, you added it & I cannot remove it. Please do, and others you may have added to memorials I created/manage. If you go here:, you may read Find A Grave's guidelines for adding obituaries to memorials which state, in part, "Similarly, you may NOT scan an obituary and add it as a photograph to a memorial record."
