I am documenting the burial places of the Shawnee Indian Bluejacket family. The first identified male member is Chief Blue Jacket, born in the Pennsylvania area about 1743, and died in Sandwich, Ontario, Canada about 1808. I am a descendant of his grandson Charles Bluejacket and Julia Ann Daugherty. They settled in Oklahoma, from Kansas and the town of Bluejacket is named for this family.|
Several Bluejacket descendants have been doing genealogical research on this family and it is well documented. I am focusing on grave sites. I would appreciate any information any one has or comes across. When I find a grave site already on graveyard that I have information for, I will forward it and hope that it can be added. If you are a closer family member to the person than I and would like to have the Memorial, just let me know, and I will happily transfer it to you.

I see your request for a photo on findagrave for Westview Cemetery. I am familiar with that cemetery and would be happy to look for you. Would you please call the cemetery office at 404-755-6611 to find out the section and lot numbers for your request? And please also confirm there is actually a marker. The office is reluctant to give me that information and in fact has threatened to charge me for it. They do however give it easily to relatives. The cemetery is massive and that section/lot information will help me narrow the search.
I am distantly related to the Bergen Family of Washington County, Ohio. Thanks for the prompt edit. Sorry, but I don't know anything about her husband's family. Jill MacRae

Thomas Gore is my wife's 4g-grandfather. You have added info on his wife Sbina (sic) (Sabina) Wilson Gwyn. I'm stumped. Could you please tell me your source for the surname "Gwyn"? We've only ever heard the surname "Wilson". We can't find a record of the marriage either. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Linda, would love to know if there are pictures of her. I see on Find A Grave and here on Ancestry your connection to the Hightower family.
I thought you might want to know some information I found on Mary. Many myself included had the wrong birth and death for her. I noticed on the SSI it had name of Mary Elizabeth Bailey BIRTH: 7 Aug 1902 - Illinois DEATH: 18 Dec 1996 - Los Angeles. Two strikes wrong name and birth place. Mary was born in Missouri. Would love to know where she is buried and her parents.
Correct one California Death Index
Age: 55 Mary E Bailey [Mary E Skelley] Gender: Female Birth Date: 22 Nov 1902 Birth Place: Missouri Death Date: 14 Feb 1958 Death Place: San Diego Mother's Maiden Name: Stokes Father's Surname: Skelley.
Also in the Atchison, Kansas newspaper where her brother Fay Skelley lived this article, I notice they have her age wrong!
Atchison Daily Globe (Atchison, Kansas) 1958 February 16
Fay Skelley, has received word of the death Friday of his youngest sister, Mrs. Mary Bailey, 48 at her home in San Diego; She was born in Atchison, a daughter of E.B. and Lottie Skelley and had lived in California many years. She leaves six children, a sister, Mrs. Herbert McCormack, and besides Fay Skelley two other brothers, Tom and George Skelley, both of California.
I have enjoyed the pictures and history of your family you have shared, thank you.

I see your photo request for Westview Cemetery in Atlanta. If you would please call the office at 404-755-6611 and request the section and lot numbers, I will go and look for you. The office wants to charge me for that information. The cemetery is massive and if I have a section number it will help narrow the search. Thanks.
|Jennie Rybban||RE: Emma Ruth Enochs Ford|
Hi, Linda -
According to my records, they had four children:
Wallace Clyde, Claude R., Archie D. and Caroline B.
The marriage record lists her as being "Miss" and her death certificate has her parents, Evan and Rebecca Susan (nee Woodward) Enochs. In terms of their children, I've only been able to track Wallace and lost touch with the others.
Her father, Evan, may have been a "49er" as he is in that neck of California when gold was discovered. Then, he's back in Monroe Co. MO by the mid 1850s.
Wish I could give you more, but I'm drawing blanks.
