I've been researching family genealogy for many years and also upload local cemetery registers for the cemeteries in our county. |
I have no familial connection to most of the people I upload, so feel free to request transfers of your relatives. I only ask that you let me know how you're related to a family. Or if you have a decent reason, I'm good with that, too. If you'll take good care of a memorial, I have no problem transferring if you're not related.
While I have many memorials, I am not a numbers person. I would rather have family members maintain memorials.
I make updates very quickly, and usually do not reply back unless I have a question. I frequently will use the email provided in the edit to respond to a question. If your correction has not been made, please check to see if I've emailed, as I normally don't make the updates if I do not have the question answered.

**Please use the Edit feature on memorials over requesting changes in messages or sending emails. That really is the easiest and most efficient way to accomplish updates. Thanks!**

****If you volunteer on this website and decide you no longer want to maintain memorials, please transfer your records to someone who has an active account and are willing to take over management of the memorials. I am one of many willing to take over records. This really will help reduce duplicates.
Right now, you can email firstname.lastname@example.org if you have someone who has accepted stewardship over the memorials you added. Please send in their member number with your email. Feel free to contact me should you wish that someone maintain the memorials you have created. Thanks!*****

Death is only an old door
Set in a garden wall
On gentle hinges it gives, at dusk
When the thrushes call
Along the lintel are green leaves
Beyond the light lies still;
Very willing and weary feet
Go over that sill
There is nothing to trouble any heart;
Nothing to hurt at all.
Death is only a quiet door.
In an old wall.

Jonelle, Thank you for adding my cousin's memorial, I planned on doing it this weekend since the funeral was just today. The Damico(D'Amico)name is spelled both ways with and without the apostrophe, I've allowed the edit to her mother Angela's memorial that you requested since that is the way they spelled it in the obituary. Most of us no longer use the apostrophe. Thanks again.

I have added your bio request for Miriam. Per the 1940 US Census her father, Rev. Stoa was married to Martha M Stoa at that time. Should I add Martha as Miriam's mother to the bio?

Hi Jonelle, I used the edit tab as you explained for some information I'd like added to Aunt Della's memorial but I forgot to include that she died July 4, 1966 in Waupaca, Waupaca Co., Wisconsin. Thanks for your help on this.

Thanks for the information, I did not know about that. Thanks also for adding it to the memorial. I appreciate all your work you've done in putting these memorials on Find A Grave. We just don't get a chance to get up there as often as we'd like.

thanks for the heads up on Fay and her husband being in St Stephen Cemetery in Stevens Point, Portage Co., WI. I have moved their memorials there..

Sorry. I can't manage my own life, let alone those of my dead ancestors. ;-} I spend too much time on this as it is - it's kind of addicting, like eating pints of Haagen Dazs.

accidentally hit Enter after typing the subject line.
Wanted to say thanks for doing what you do - now I know where my great-great-grandparents are buried - I knew the town and cemetery, but had never seen the gravestones. The correction http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=103001182 - His name was Charles William LeGro, not Charles E. Also, the middle initial on his wife's name looks very much like a T to me, identical to the one in her first name, Theodora. Oddly, I can't find her middle name anywhere - oh, maybe the T is for Thompson, her maiden name.
