Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am an amateur historian at heart. After I discovered the Find A Grave website, I felt much gratitude to those who served as contributors. I feel that visiting a gravesite is a way of paying my respects to someone, either famous or non-famous, for having contributed to our history. I appreciate Jim Tipton's Find A Grave website as a means of permitting many people to do that without incurring significant expenses. I also look upon this website as a source of historical reference material. For these reasons, I decided to become a contributor of text and photos. Because I have developed a great interest in Japan in recent years, I have sought to have that nation well represented. In this regard, I have gotten much help from Mr. Akira Komatsu, Suwa-city, Nagano, (L) and Mr. Daiju Omura, Yokohama-city, Shinagawa, (R) who have unselfishly assisted me with research and permitted me to contribute pictures of theirs to Find A Grave. I also thank Dr. Mark Jewel of Tokyo's Waseda University for the use of several of his pictures.

John Parsons
Jittery Johnny Parsons was a popular midget auto racer in the late 40's and early 50's. I used to baby sit and help his wife in the stands every Wednesday night in San Diego. This was the start of his racing career. I thought this might me a good addition to his bio. (Not me of course, but his Midget Auto days because he was sensational)

Arthur Chevrolet
I am sure Arthur Chevrolet is NOT buried IN Slidell Memorial Cemetery . It would be extremely rare in 1946 for Arthur to be interned in that cemetery. He is actually buried in the old Guzman (Our Lady of Lourdes) cemetery witch is Slidell's Catholic cemetery.

Credit for Your Fern Oaks Image
I included a copy of your image of the entrance gate post to Fern Oaks in a blog post. I took care to give you credit for the photo and link back to your page here at findagrave.

I'm not sure if coding is allowed in these posts; so I'll just insert the raw link to my blog post: https://daughterofslaveancestry.wordpress.com/2015/05/04/in-remembrance-of-violet-marie-palmer/ .

I wanted you to see how your work has been used and that proper credit has been given. I would also like to ask you if you could schedule a search for Violet Marie PALMER's headstone for one of your future visits to the cemetery. If so, please let me know the information you need in order to locate the plot.

Thank you. It's a wonderful work that you're doing to help others. I plan to do the same here in Houston.

I recently took and now posted photos of what I believe is this grave. It seems to have a slightly different rendition of his name. If by some chance I have mismatched, please let me know and I'll delete or make a new memorial.

If you need anything else in Tokyo, let me know and I can do my best as I live here.

spouse name remove
Hello and thank you for your work with find a grave. I have a request, that you remove a spouse noted on my Uncles site. Harry O. Keller 116500317. He was never married to Lelah Marjean Wolfe Keller 1333495320 whos site you manage. There is another Harry 'Knowles' Keller 111092784 that is also at that cemetery that may be her husband, but I didn't know this for a fact. I do know for a fact she was never my Uncles wife. Thank you.

dates of birth for mother and daughter.
Reading the bio on Mr.William Harvey Carney I noticed it list the mothers birth year as eighteen hundred and eighteen and the daughters birth year as eighteen hundred and twenty-two. This would mean the mother was only four years old when her daughter was born. Someone might search to find the mothers correct birth year as Mr. Carney was highly esteemed person of color during his time.

Hello, I wrote to you about a month ago about finding Leon's gravestone in the Greenwood Cemetery in Wheeling, WV. Do you know how I can get his memorial moved to the Greenwood Cemetery in Wheeling so I can put his gravestone on his memorial? Carla
