I volunteered at my church in Pastoral Care for 5 years. This was something that I was so happy to be involved in..it was filling a need that I had to be connected after relatives deaths and also I feel that I was able to help others. I have learned so many lessons about how death and illness affects the lives of everyone's loved ones and how much it helps to have a way to reach out.
I found this site while looking for famous people. I didn't know at first that I could add loved ones. I feel it is a wonderful tribute to their memories. Many times we only remember the good things and I don't feel it is important to dwell on the past. We have to forgive things in each ones past in order to be forgiven ourselves.
In reading others memorials and obits, I am retreiving memories that were lost in this aging mind..some tearful but mostly joyful. THANK YOU CONTRIBUTORS.
I have had many hobbies at different times in my life, but my relationship with God & family has always been top priority in my life.

I will gladly correct or delete as you desire. If it is your family member I will gladly turn control over to you so you can make it more personal. It is not my desire to offend anyone, only to honor with respect. I think every memorial should have flowers on it especially babies and servicemen and women.
