Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was born in Riverside, Burlington County New Jersey and spent much of my first ten years there. My father died in WWII having never seen me. My step-father was in the Navy so we spent a lot of time traveling around. I graduated from high school at the Naval Base in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, joined the Navy in 1961, came out to California in 1963 and have been here ever since. I have been married twice, have three children and eleven grandchildren. My second wife Sandy and I have known each other since we were five years old and have been married since 2006. I have been doing my family genealogy since 2010 and a member of Find A Grave for three+ years now.

I am interested in families in the Philadelphia and Burlington County, NJ areas with last names of Freck/Frech (originally from Germany mid 1800s), Broderson/Brodersen (Denmark), Stecher (originally from Germany mid 1800s) and Hirst, originally from England. Hirst were prominent in the cigar business in Philadelphia. Additionally, I am working on my wife's family, Wetherell and Goodwin in New Hampshire.

If you see a picture of a gravestone I have taken and want to use it, by all means copy it and use as needed. If you see a family members memorial that I have created and you would like to manage it, just ask.

Harvey Hyatt Fillmore
My name is Fillmore and have created a memorial for the family of WH and Maria and their 13 children. Would you be interested in transferring Harvey Hyatt Fillmore and his wife Virna to me? They are Find A Grave #86473175 and #86473198. Thank you for your consideration.

RE: Wilma Wright
Haven't tried researching them yet. The death record had a mother's maiden name so I might be able to figure them out eventually. I'll continue looking and let you know if I find anything.

Hi Dean,

I added Isaac's wife, Susan later. I did't see any others, but I'll be back to Proprietor's within a couple of weeks, and I'll check for you.

Charles L. Adams
Hello Dean, About five months ago we communicated about Charles L. Adams, the second husband of my great-grandmother Madeline Belle “Mattie” Cameron-Adams (#122508231). You located and photographed her headstone in Union Cemetery. Previous info for Charles suggested he died in Randsburg circa 1934. I now know that is wrong because today I found his obituary!! In the 26 Dec 1932 Bakersfield Californian, accessed via A follow-up article from 27 Dec 1932 states his interment would be at Union Cemetery.
I just discovered you created a memorial (#135681240) for Charles three months ago, Union Cemetery, plot Oakdale 54-1, unmarked grave. Did you locate some documentation in the cemetery office? Great work! I would like to add some biographical information on Charles, link his memorial with Mattie’s and others, and attach a photo of him. And I think the correct date of death was 26 Dec 1932 (not 28 Dec 1931). Would you be willing to transfer management to me? I would be grateful.
Regards, Jeffrey Adams (member #48181502)

RE: Boettler Seibert
Thanks for looking. Perhaps they were cremated and ashes given to a family member. Only a guess though.

Any update on Boettler or June or their daughter. I've been able to find nothing else about them. Thanks.

RE: Laura Hitt
Hi Dean,
I think everybody has a right to do what they want to do (most of the time). The reason I sent in the edit is for genealogical purposes and standardization of the process so that when someone comes across a name somewhere they can readily/easily/accurately determine what is the first, middle, maiden and married name(s) of the person. Everything seems clearer (to me) that way and searches and family links can become easier. I am very OK with notes in the bio section if that's what it takes in order to clarify things which may seem ambiguous.
That's my philosophy and why I sent in the edit. I am all for making things easier. For everybody.
Again, see the first sentence.
PS. I'm not mad at you for anything and really appreciate all of the work you have done at Union Cemetery where I have lots of "cousins" which you have helped me to find.
