Bio and Links
Bio Photo I feel like I have been doing this for a long time now. Thirteen years. Feel free to send me corrections or additions and also feel free to use photos I take or submit.

When you want to send me a message a little courtesy is nice instead of people writing rudely or demanding something. I am kind and I expect the same in return. I am just saying this as I had one woman leave some nasty messages for me that I deleted.

If you are related to a memorial I have do not be afraid to ask for a transfer if they are not related to me I am more than happy to do so.

Happy hunting everyone.

RE: W. W. C. Carpenter
Mark,
Thank you very much for making the transfer. I really do appreciate that and your kind words. Can I ask how the Carpenter name was attributed to his headstone? Was it in a Carpenter family plot?
I have just posted his military service information in the bio of his memorial and hope that you will take the opportunity to review it and share any corrections or suggestions that you feel should be made.

Thanks again,
George

Thank you for addiing the obit. We have been looking for a copy. I was intending to write the county historical society in Lowville. We come down from Wm Perry through Jerome, the son who went to Conn.

Have fun!! That's what this is all about anyway. There is an old saying that I use to get through life today. I think it is applicable in the world we are living in. Hope you like it. Lisa

A LESSON IN FORGIVENESS

People are often unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered—
Forgive them anyway.

If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives—
Be kind anyway.

If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies¬¬----
Succeed anyway.

If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you---
Be honest and frank anyway.

What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight---
Build anyway.

If you find serenity and happiness, there may be jealousy----
Be happy anyway.

The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow---
Do good anyway.

Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough----
Give the world the best you’ve got anyway.

You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and God---
It was never between you and them anyway.

You have the family name, and I do not follow the recommended transfer guidelines. I see it as a guide, not a mandate! This should be a labor of love and that is how I see it. I am going to transfer and know that you will "take care" of the sites. I had fun connecting the family---sort of like a math problem or puzzle.

Now confession...the James Livingston family is the one that I am connecting. However, I am not directly part of that family. His father was my ancestor. All I do is connect family member to family.

Anyway, we are on the same page and do it for the joy of it. Look for several transfers; thank you for being so nice. I, too, only have about 7-8000 people; I transfer a lot.

Thank you for being so responsive!

That's good. It is a wonderful part of history to be treasured. For each memorial it applies to, it would be nice to see the photo of the cabin with the story captioned with it. I enjoyed reading about it. The best to you and yours.
