Took the requested photo today. Had to dig the markers out, they were under about 4 inches of dirt and grass. Most of the markers were hand made, looks like from the family. John L. & Monroe were from the cemetery. I added all that were in the area. I did miss Bertha and her husband Henry Sears. Will have to dig them out on my next trip. Hope this helps in your search.

RE: Proof of middle name Hiram
I will correct mine ASAP and continue to find out who Joseph Henry Smith belongs to. No, I believe you. I saw the death cert you provided. I had another person tell me about Joseph Henry Smith. I am a Smith, too but not of this line. That is why I am sorting out all the Smith's in the area. My Smith's were from the Ransom Smith line and they are not relate to yours. Just want to keep the correct Smith's with the correct line. Thank you for the info and I stand corrected.

RE: Knute Haugen
You are very welcome. I also have the article about finding him frozen to death and his obituary. I was mostly interested in connecting him with his brother. I will type this info up and submit it to you.

This guy is the brother of my great-great grandfather, Alva Curtis Alfonte. I thought I would add some info so maybe you can update his info:

His father was John Alfont (1822) a farmer born in PA. He married a woman by the name of Nancy (1824) Born in OH.

His siblings were:
Alva Curtis Alfonte (1850-1893)
John Alfonte (1859-)

Thank you.

May I have permission to use your photo of Paul & Louise Cooper's headstone on my Ancestry.com Family Tree? It's always nice to have something tangible to represent family. I will, of course, give you credit. Thank you so much for your consideration.
