Bio and Links
Bio Photo My full name is Judy Dian Foreman Fisher Lee, I'm the only child of Burl & Marybelle Elizabeth Rumsey Foreman Jr. I was married to John Burl Fisher and we had two daughters: Darleen Renee and Veronica Rochelle. I've been married to Donald James Lee for over 40 years, we have two children: Jamie Dyan & Andrew Foreman. Don & I raised a blended family: his two children by his first wife, my two, our two, my youngest half-brother and my half-sister's son. We also helped raise five grandchildren.

Our youngest son, Andrew, died July 15, 2009 in Evansville, Vanderburgh Co IN at the age of 31 yrs. He left two children: Mackenzee & Conner.

Genealogy has been a life saver for me. But after Andrew's death I didn't think I would ever do it again. I still work full time and we are raising Mackenzee, so I'm stepping back into it very lightly. We cleaned the Old James Yancey Travillion Cemetery in Pope Co IL last week-end [Mar 20th, 2010]. Which was a labor of love. My family comes from Pope Co IL and that's my favorite place to research.

RE: Martha Ann Lee Bratton

What info do you have on the Satterfield family? My ggg grandfather Samuel T Lee married a Martha Satterfield. Martha's father was Eli Satterfield and her mother was Deliah Hales. This is as far back I have gotten on the Satterfield family. I know there were Satterfields that lived in Allen County KY who ran a funeral home. I have not found a connection to this family. Eli was born in South Carolina and moved to kentucky in the early 1800s.

Thanks for the info.

Mary Irene Davidson Taylor (#126627592)
Hi Judy,

Just wanted to let you know I found Mary Irene Davidson Taylor buried in Independence Cemetery. I found your memorial for her twin, Madge Leona (#93254059) and thought you might be interested.

Martha Ann Lee Bratton

My name is Kenney Lee from Warren County, Kentucky. I was doing some research last night and found that my great-great grand aunt was Martha Ann Lee Bratton. I noticed you created a memorial for her (#70218082). Is your husband related to any of the Lee's from Warren or Barren County, Kentucky? My great-great-great grandfather was Henry Lee (b 1789 N.C., d 1855 KY). Henry's oldest son Samuel T. Lee was my g-g grandfather. Henry and Martha were brothers and sisters who lived in Warren County near where I presently live now.

RE: Mima Armstrong
so I know Mima was married to Dr. Edward Trovillion. What is the relation between him and Pearl and Ray? ... and now I'm curious about this grand house. (-: You know how the old-timey "news" articles can be "such and such visited so and so at their home at 123 Apple Lane". Do you have an address? -Amy (this stuff is so addicting!)

RE: Mima Armstrong
Well, Judy, you made the Mina->Mima change in ... less than a week? That is very prompt, at least in my book! (-: Mima - of course I don't know, but it seems like she must have been a strong lady. Researching one of her husband's, William Armstrong, his mortuary record said he died at age 80 from "senility and arteriosclerosis"; if Mima was caring for him at home (I could recheck, I don't remember now), that would have been challenging, for sure. If you would like me to check anything here at our library for local history, let me know, I would be happy to do that. I'm over there regularly. They have lots of stuff useful for family history research, pretty cool. Take care, Amy

In my research, in the US CENSUS records, I've seen the name Trovillian spelled various ways. Would love to know how the family spelled it. Pls forgive any misspellings.

Solomon C. Murphy
Hello, Many of Solomon's children and their spouses are buried at Antioch Cemetery. Related family names are Buchanan, Keef, and Kirkpatrick. Also, Trevelyan is a family name also on the Compton side. I would like to know where the Trevelyan Cemetery is. I hope to get down to Pope Co. again. Before he passed away, my grandfather Dewey F. Murphy with his daughter and son-in-law Mary and John P. Staden would go there every year to decorate the graves. Any one who would like to share family info is welcome to contact me.
