Searching for family ancestors, currently residing in Northeast Florida, but family background is mainly Tennessee-Arkansas-Mississippi, and predates the Civil War & the American Revolution. Descendant of Edward Rutledge, a signer of the Declaration of Independence, & representative from South Carolina, 1776, and a distant cousin of President Jimmie Carter.|

|Jerry N Bennett||Grave of Lewis Washington Roper|
I have tried many options to find my grandfather's grave, no luck so far. I thought you might have some ideas of where I might look for information.
This is what I know from his death certificate and research:
-died 3 April 1917 in St. Vincents Hosp. Jax,FL
-his body was removed to Clay Co. by Moulden & Kyle. No interment noted.
-his family was predominately Baptist.
-I have contacted; Moulten & Kyle; Clay Co. Vital Records; Duval Co. Vital Records; Old Hickory Grove; several other churches in Clay Co; and a couple of funeral homes in Clay Co. All negative!
Do you have any suggestions?

Thought you might like to add that to your bio for him.
