Bio

The IWPP was created in September 2005 by Carina and Gary Nelson. Carina is Swedish born whose Grandfather served on the King's Guard of Sweden. Gary is a retired Staff Sergeant of the Washington DC Air National Guard, a retired Police Sergeant as well as retired from the Federal Government.

Beginning May 28, 2012 Carina and Gary relocated to Sweden.

Beginning 1 December, 2014, Gary and Carina no longer focus on military graves due to attention to a new life and new interests in Sweden. We will continue to upload names and photos from local Swedish cemeteries.

Over the years several people have stepped forward and embraced the idea of the Project and either through the Project or their individual efforts have made a difference in recognizing the War Fallen and military Veterans the world over.
