I love my Ancestery! Just really got interested about 2 years ago, and can't believe what I have found. Searching Thomas, Beaver, Phillips, Brumfield, Adams, Suthers, and Chapmans. I love to go to the cemeteries and take pics, and if I can help anyone else, I would love it. I would want someone to help me if they could. If anyone has any info on any of these families in and around Gallia, Lawrence Counties in Ohio and Cabell County, in WV, I would be very greatful. Thanks|

Thank you so much for the information... I will pass it along..
I am so sorry to hear that your daughter has passed away.... as my mother always said, we parents are not supposed to have to do that... Saying prayers now that you and your family will be able to rely on God for his blessings.

I have that Archibald Chapman died at Champman Mill , Gallia County, Ohio. I was wondering if you know where Chapman Mill is located..
I am trying to help a lady find where Chapman Mill is located.
May I use your photos of the Shorts in the Lewis White Cemetery for my family tree? Courtesy will be given. Thanks.

Hi cousin! I'm not sure if you had read this but I thought I would share just to make sure. In my 2nd great grandfather's (Giles Montgomery Adams Sr.) testimony for his brother William's pension application, he recalled how his brother almost died during the Civil War. "We were both members of Company E, 179th Regiment - Ohio Infantry Volunteers. In the month of March, 1865, while in camp near Nashville Tennessee, Wm. J. Adams, had an attack of Measles, which made him very sick. I nursed him all the time during his sickness. I thought it doubtful about his getting well, but he did recover. He complained ever afterward about his breast hurting. I think his health was impaired by that spell of Measles."
