I have been involved in Genealogy for over 27 years. Became a Professional Genealogist in about 2008. I have an Associate of Science Degree in Science that was awarded on 16 Jun 1982. I am presently working on my Certification Portfolio for my CG. Found Find-A-Grave in October 2009, and joined. I feel that it is a good way to keep the memory, of those who have passed away, alive. Will transfer a relative to you, unless it is my relative also.____________________________________________________Quoting another FAG contributor and agreeing."I think it is a real shame what findagrave has evolved into. What started as a noble way to link people with graves of loved ones they could never hope to see, and with the generations that had preceded them, has turned into a game for some. Memorials have turned into a kind of "trading card", a competition of who can own the most memorials and post the highest numbers. What has been forgotten by many is that these were people, loved in life and death, not a commodity to be traded or owned. With my apologies to those that have pure motives. I hope there are more of us than there are of them".I would like to thank Contributor Bernice for this thought, and also say that I agree with her and the original poster.|
My sister Susan Conner passed away on Dec. 27, 2015. Her Memorial #156405201. Please stop by and leave a flower.

I transferred management to you. I added info to Tiny's memorial.
Like your profile and could not agree more with what happens here on Find A Grave...but I keep on trying to connect family and document the cemeteries and hope the numbers game will end one day...
Have a Blessed Day...

I really appreciate you answering my question and so quickly. The information sent clears up a lot of mysteries and very helpful.

Do you have any more information on Andrew? I am trying to find if he was married a second time to Mary? She is listed with him in the 1870 and 1880 census records. She is age 65 in 1880.

Thanks! I appreciate you (as always). My book is almost done. I've signed with a publisher and looking to have it to them by December. I'm writing on the last generation now (John Andrew's generation). I'm not going down any further then that, because I don't want to write on people that may be alive.
Hope all is well with you and yours.
