Could you please give me the exact location of this cemetery. I need pictures of monuments and I cannot find anyone in the area who knows where this small cemetery is actually located.
Thanks so much. Ginger Seale

I logged into FindAGrave to send my cousin a picture of the Mitchell Headstone in Old Willimantic Cemetery when I noticed that you apparently entered quite a bit of info about the stone and the people on it. Since I am a member of that family, I thought I would give you "the rest of the story, so to speak.
My great grandparents were Robert and Rebecca O'Neil Mitchell, who emigrated from Sligo, Ireland in 1880 with most of their 11 children. My grandparents were John G. Mitchell and Edna Lasbury Mitchell. My own parents are buried in Old Saybrook, CT.
Charles Parker Mitchell was my uncle; he was in the Merchant Marine during WW II and I'm guessing that this is why he was buried at sea. He and my aunt, Catherine Schultz Mitchell, had 2 children: Doris Mitchell Spigel and Charles Jr., who was always known as Peter. Peter moved to Oklahoma a number of years ago and lived there until his death in 2007. Doris was a widow and she and her mother moved to Oklahoma sometime in the 1990's, I think. Doris died in 2000 and Aunt Catherine in 2002,just short of her 100th birthday. I've tracked my aunt, Doris and Peter from funeral home notices but I can find nothing about actual burials. All of them died in Oklahoma and I'm guessing, mainly because Uncle Charlie was cremated and his ashes scattered, that the same thing happened with them.
It's always bothered me that Aunt Catherine's spot on the headstone is blank. I have absolutely no idea
who paid for the stone; my father had a picture of it which is how I even knew that it existed.
That's all for now; I guess I've bent your ear enough. I noticed that you've also worked on the Parker family and some of those names look suspiciously familiar. My family tree is overrun with Parkers.
Regards and thank you for your research,
Ruth Mitchell Kelly

I see you have created Find A Grave Memorial# 75463869 for George W Cline.
Thank you for honoring him. If you are a cousin to him on the Cline side, then we are cousins.
Thank you for your work on Find a Grave. I am working on finding the graves themselves for the descendants of Jonas Cline. I live not too far from his final resting place somewhere in Fulton county, IL, and am very interested in finding especially the Cline descendants.
I have started a Facebook presence for the descendants of Jonas cline to create a virtual reunion.
And a Facebook group for the descendants of Jonas to communicate with each other privately.
Descendants of Revolutionary War veteran Jonas Cline and Caty Roosa:
If you are descended from Jonas Cline, could you please like the page and request to join the group, and promote this to others you know descend from Jonas and Caty?
Family History Names: NauvooMom, EternalFH, (Find A Grave: Mom)
Current mysteries to solve:
- Jonas and Caty Cline’s family in Fulton, IL and beyond
- Identify Martha Dexter and John Bishop Porter’s 12 children in Minnesota, Illinois, and Nova Scotia

May I use the photo of Frank's stone on my Ancestry tree. He is my DIL's grandfather. TIA

Ashby Lancaster Lee (b. April 4, 1918) lived in Washington, DC.
Do you think this could be him? If so, he is the eighth child of Robert Fitzhugh Lee and his second wife, Annie Bell Lee.

Do you know if he was in the Army Corp in WWII, Saipan with B29 planes. If so I have a photo that he is in.
