A poet, novelist, and graphical artist. I worked for many years as a professional greeting card writer and designer. I recently published my historical romance novel, Painter of Dreams. It's available on Amazon. I've been married to a wonderful man for 39 years. We have three adult children and many cats and dogs.
Dr. LeRoy Aaron Cleveland was my father. I found out from a DNA test. He was 82-years-old, and my mom was 26-years-old when I was conceived. She worked as an assistant in his dental office in downtown in St. Joseph. He died two years after I was born.
He was the father of another infant, Viola May Hubka, who was born in 1905 to Belva Jordan. Viola was put up for adoption at a home for unwed mothers in Colorado.
Sadly, I never met my half-sister, but through her descendants (and many of the Clevelands) I learned through DNA that LeRoy was my father.
