Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a native Texan and love genealogy. I was born and grew up in Foard County, Texas. I never traveled much from my home town until I married; and now, my husband and I travel a lot. We live most of the time in South America and travel over the United States when we are home. I have just finished helping with compiling a book of information on World War I veterans who are buried in Foard. I have also compiled clippings, notes and information on Civil War Veterans who lived at any time in Foard County, Texas. I have a passion for preserving history as recorded in the cemeteries, many of which have been neglected and vandalized. I also love receiving and sharing information.
At the end of 2012, my husband and I are retiring and relocating in Springfield, Missouri.

Thank You
Thank you, Cindy, for transferring Rose Ann Phillips Harris to me. I have added a family picture to her memorial.

RE: Nancy Matilda Forrest Faver
Hi Cyndy,
I don't know, but will let you know if/when I find any information.

Virginia, do you have a clue as to why Nancy Faver was in Foard County when she died? Did she have family there? I am working on cemetery records for the Crowell Cemetery. Cyndy

Thank you.
Thank you for editing the Durham family's parents. There are still a few of the Durhams that I have not found that are children of Merton and Georgia. Three are living and one sister still remains to be found. Her nick name was Sis but do not know her married or given name. How do you like Missouri? I have visited and thought that the humidity was difficult to bare. Take care.

Thank you for your detailed response. I presume that Ona J. Peden was married and thus we lost track of her. Your other information was very interesting.

I would like to locate information on Emily's first child, Ona J. Peden, from her marriage to Alexander Peden, my G. Uncle.

Thank you!

Do you have any information on Emily & Willis living in Texas? I see they were buried in Kentucky. Her first husband was my G. Uncle Alexander Peden.
Thank You!

McAdams-Gafford Cemetery
Hi Cyndy,
I noticed the msg about this cemetery per posting from another contributor - FYI: if YOU were the original creator of the cemetery, then you should be able to add the GPS coordinates she gave you. There is a place supplied where you add geographical info, and the "Lat & Lon" data.

As for the name of the cemetery (any cemetery) - cemeteries are to be listed by the "official" name. Any and all other names it may be referred to by are shown as A.K.A. names. You can contact Find A Grave staff and have them add the A.K.A. name under the existing name. One is to never create a duplicate cemetery by its other names. That makes for one big mess to have to clean up once the cemeteries are merged.

If I can be of assistance, just holler, always glad to assist where I can!
