Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been working with cemeteries one way or another all my life. When I was a child, I helped my mother and my aunts clean the brass markers on the graves of my grandfather and my uncle and other family members; my maternal grandmother had beautiful flowers all in her yard and we were constantly taking flowers to the graves of relatives and people who were friends of my grandmother (though complete strangers to me) who "had no one else to put flowers on their graves." Later, as a daughter-in-law, I became involved in the Henry County Genealogy Society's cemetery book project when I volunteered to type up listings on the over 425 cemeteries which the group had compiled for publication. I enjoy taking pictures of stones for people who cannot personally get to cemeteries in my area, and I appreciate people who have done the same for me in their area. I have created several memorials in the course of my cemetery work. Some of the memorials are people who are not related to me, so I am always willing to transfer those non-related memorials to people who request them - hopefully allowing more information to be listed than I am able to provide.

RE: Frances Blakemore memorial
Her listing of William S. Blakemore at that cemetery includes a statement, burial location unknown, which I take that she assumed he was there but was not sure.

The lilies to me indicate that someone is buried there. I saw this at a lost cemetery in Louisiana. There is one lost cemetery here where I found a good number of headstone beneath an inch of dirt and cow manure. I get the poison ivy here and have to remind myself the poison ivy oil is in the leaf litter under the affected tree. Hate the briars too. I use flour for old inscriptions. Can't wait to see what lost souls you bring back to life.
Thanks and good luck!!

RE: Joel Porter Claxton correction
It's ok! I'm glad to know it's being managed by a member of the family. I wasn't sure if any one was out there. Thanks so much for your dedication and getting back to me!

RE: James Pool photo request
Thanks Mary Ann. I just saw the request.
And will report as a problem. He did not have a marker at Walker.
Hope you are doing well.

Thanks so much for finding and photographing the grave sites of the Wallaces. I'm researching them on behalf of an ex, who is a lateral relation.
