I am a genealogical researcher Rutland Co., VT area. Always glad to hear from other researchers. |
Headstones don't last forever. We need to get good digital photos of all the old ones.
If I have accidently added a duplicate, please let me know and I will promptly remove it.

|JNRussell Descendant||RE: Russell genealogy|
Donna what is your connection to Josephine Russell Harvey?
|JNRussell Descendant||Josephine Russell Harvey|
My email is email@example.com . My grandmother's mother was Minnie Viola Russell Kerby. After she married before the turn of the century most of her family (Russels moved to TX.) She remained in Florence, AL and raised her family.
Many pictures were sent from Tx to Minnie and I have inherited most of them. I know more about those pictures then any descendants left in this area. I know I have pictures of Josephine and her family.
Please let me know how you are related and maybe we can share our work/history.

Thank you for taking the time to photograph the gravestone for Rennselaer and Betsey Adams Wright. A number of people related to the Wrights have posed questions over the past couple of weeks as to where some of the Wright family is buried in and around Rutland, Vermont, and Whitehall, New York. You answered one question as to Rennselaer and Betsey.

Hi, So confusing huh. No, I don't need obits as I'm not related. I wonder if you should add him back at Buck Horn and just link him to his wife and put notes. That way if someone is looking for him...they'll find him and her. Just my thoughts. Who knows what happened between his death and her death since there was such a gap. Take care.
|klassikat||RE: Fred Heyen|
Hi, Interesting about the obit info. I wonder...could one of them be a cenotaph? Just a thought. Guess the only way to really know for sure is to contact both cemeteries. But guess you've done the best you can. Thanks for letting me know what happened.

Are you related to Thomas McKinney memorial #20663509? His brother Samuel was my great-great-grandfather. I'd love to know anything you may know about this family.
|Illona Jensen||124172924 Veva Allen Jarnagin|
Your Find A Grave Memorial# 124172924 Veva Brown Jarnagin is the same person as Find A Grave Memorial# 131959409 Veva Allen, only they didn't account for her 2nd mg to Jarnagin.
Veva A Brown 1st md George Clarence Allen (not Clarence BROWN, as you have written) 19 Nov 1902. G C Allen is Find A Grave Memorial# 131959407 and died in 1918. Veva & Clarence Allen's 6 mo old daughter, Carolyn (probably after George's mother, Caroline), is Find A Grave Memorial# 96138979.Their son George Eugene Allen is Find A Grave Memorial# 43849149. All are in the same cemetery.
Maybe you know how to link them together. That would be awesome!

Hi Donna, I was checking Find A Grave's Site. My Grandfather was Harvey Franklin Crosson. On his page I found a Red Rose and your name. I had requested a photo of his Headstone but haven't heard anything. Are you going to take a photo of his stone? I just wondered why your name and a Red Rose was on his site? My Grandmother is Hattie Rebecca Lenker (Crosson). I requested a photo of her stone also. Could you get back an E-Mail me and let me know on this info? My E- Mail is: firstname.lastname@example.org My name is Karen. I'm the Grandaughter of Harvey and Hattie. I would appreciate any info. you can find. Thank-You so very much,

You found Margaret McKinney and her son Hugh
They should have been somewhere near the Cole stones.
Hugh Broughton Cole and Margaret Broughton McKinney were brother & sister.
Hugh Cole was my mother's step-father, but the only father she knew. He was in our lives until I was about 15.
