I live in Concord, NC and I very much enjoy doing genealogy research with over 6,300 family names in my data base.|
I am very interested in ancestors who were in the military and especially the ones who fought in the Revolutionary War. I have identified 67 ancestors and close relatives who fought for independence in the War Between the States. I am a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans, Capt. Jonas Cook SCV Camp #888.
Some of my ancestor names are Allen, Carpenter, Cauble, Caudle, Hildreth, McKay, Morrison, Motley, Faggart (Fegert), Bost, Corzine, Armstrong, Smith, Reed.

Your memorial for him is at St. Johns Church in Cabarrus County, yet in your memorial you clearly state he is buried at Oakwood Cemetery in Richmond, VA! Please move his memorial to the correct cemetery.

|Sherm||Noah Corzne born 1790|
I see you have listed Nicholas Corzine born 1758 as his father. I have been looking for his father for years. Thanks for the information. Did you know this from family information or did you find that information somewhere. My grandmother was a Corzine. She had information so I knew my line to Noah but from there several people had it wrong.
Colorado Springs, Co.

You did his memorial at St. Johns Lutheran Church in Cabarrus County. But in the memorial you state he is buried at Oakwood Cemetery in Richmond, VA. You should move his memorial to that cemetery.

You Wrote: Eli M. Honeycutt worked in the Post Office in Locust, Stanly County, NC in and around the year 1910. His name appears on the Civil War Veteran, Frank Cooper, Co C, 42nd NC who in 1910 at the age of 67 years was applying for a Veteran's Pension. Eli M Honeycutt assisted in and witnessed the "Soldier's Application For Pension" of Frank Cooper. Dated 5 July 1910.- - - Believe this is another Eli Honeycutt. My Eli Honeycutt lived between 1827 and 1899.
