I am retired military and have been doing family history for some thirty plus years. Currently trying to find, document and link all my ancestors together (See Lee Comon (Virtual Only)Cemetery in Lee, Kentucky) to help other family members with their research. My Mother's ancestors of Wilson, Thompson, Galbraith, Insko, Hull and Jett all came from Bracken and Mason Counties. The Tharp's were from Georgia and the Cardwell's were all through Virginia and Kentucky. My Father's ancestors are from Owsley, Estill and Lee Counties are the Roach's, Cole's, Noe's, Brandenburg's, Johnson's, Goosey's, Hamilton's, Longworth's and Coomer's from Lee or Owsley Counties and the Noe's, Howard's, Osborne's and Saylor's are from Harlan County and Rockcastle County. Please feel free to visit my virtual cemeteries for a complete listing of family members final resting place. Several times a year I try to get back to Kentucky to do research and document various cemetery's of family members and others within those cemeteries. Always going back to Mount Vernon on the 3rd Saturday in Aug for Annual Noe-Hysinger-Owens, Ponder, Livesay Family Reunion.|
2013 - Have united with seven different cousins to unite on documenting our family history to help others doing research.
16 Aug 2014 - Attended the 24th Annual Noe-Hysinge, Owens, Ponder, Livesay Family Reunion. Had a blast meeting new Cousin's.

Denny yeah it was in pretty bad shape but I did make sure the dates was correct plus it was getting dark and had been raining a little so the weather wasn't the best to make it show up real good.
I noticed you mentioned Samuel Howard, son of Samuel Howard Sr. and Frances Dryden. I believe I am related to them also. Do you by any chance have birth and/or death dates on them? I have been stuck on this for some time now.
Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Memorial #80809970. I am a little confused as you stated that 1850 census was one of the records for verifying Children of David & Sally/Sarah. You stated they had 9 children.
I am looking at the census right now and they have 11 children on the 1850. I worked on a genealogy tree for someone else on William Banks born in 1830 son of David & Sarah Hollon.

Denny, I would like to maintain my great grandmothers memorial also if you don't mind.
I knew her well, she and my grandmother Byrda Hensley McCall would watch me all summer while school was out. I have many good memories of her.
