I am a retired businessman who enjoys genealogy as a hobby. I find that genealogy and "Find a grave" go hand in hand and its easy to do both at the same time and both are very rewarding.In adding Memorials for those in my family I have added memorials for many non-relatives in hope that it will help others as others have helped me. If I've submitted a relative of yours and you would like it transferred to you, just ask. I live in the Omaha metro area and thats where most of my photos were taken.Researching Bender, Ausdemore,Hittner, German,Ternus, Bockholt, Hatzenbuehler, Kramer, Wickelman and many others. Most of My family came from Germany in the Mid 1800s and settled in the North Eastern Nebraska German farming comunities and spread from there.In my research if I run across a grave of someone in the Military that is Killed in Action they get special attention and i try to find out as much as i can about them and put it on the Memorial. We owe it to these Heros and they should not be forgotten.I authorize anyone to use my photos for any reason."Carry out a random act of kindness, with no expectation of reward, safe in the knowledge that one day someone might do the same for you." ~~~Princess Diana|

|MrsB||Thanks so much for posting the obit for Frank Janiak KIA Italy|
His widow just died, at age 100. If I hadn't read the obit, I would not have made the connection.

You are welcome for the photos.
Normally I don't encounter snakes in cemeteries but this one was crawling, or should I say, slithering with many... and with the leaves falling and lots of grasshoppers it made for careful walking... ha ha.
Actually, I live in Twin Falls Idaho

MT OLIVET CEMETERY ST JOSEPH MISSOURI
I searched for your loved one yesterday. This cemetery is enormous. There are about 21,000 burials here. If you look at the photos for this cemetery, there is a map and you will see names of different sections. Each section has upward of 400 plots in it. If you could get the name of the section it would help. I don't have a map of plots and when I go there the office is hardly ever open so I can't access the map inside the office. I will be going back now and then and if you call the office at 816-279-5005 and get a section name and post it on the memorial page, someone should have a better chance of finding the marker. Directions or a location within the section could help as well. The office personnel don't want a person like me asking for the locations of a whole bunch of people....they just don't have time for it all at once.
I hope this will help you find your loved one.

I would LOVE the transfer of Harold Zieg!
|VickiB||Charles C Healey Jr|
Hi Loren, I just uploaded the headstone for Charles and wanted to let you know that I also have pictures of two other Healy's that were buried next to him...I believe they are his parents Charles C Healy 1893-1973 and Alice E Healy 1896-1973.
I am new to contributing but will try to get them uploaded to the site if you are interested in them.

Hi Loren! Glad to see you're still active here on Find A Grave! Am hitting a brick wall - as I attempt to locate descendants (if there were any) of Raymond Lunsford Gilmore (my 2nd cousin, via the ATEN-STREMMEL families of NE.). What Nebraska resources might help - albeit that the gent died in MT.? His parents lived and died in Douglas Co., NE.
(i.e. #42871155 & #137103413).

Oh no. It loaded correctly. I'm not sure why it's showing sideways. I will check it as soon as I can.
