My name is Carol and have lived in Georgia all my life. Residing in N.E. Atlanta for many years and grew up in Hapeville, Georgia.|
My Dad began this amazing journey in finding our heritage. While on this journey we had discovered so many relatives and friends.

Most of these memorials are based on personal research from my family history (birth, death, marriage, military & other records). Other information was taken from grave markers or obituaries that I've discovered over the years. Cannot guarantee the accuracy of all these memorials, but believe most of them to be correct.
Will be glad to make memorial transfers upon request that is if related. Would very much like to hear from you and should you have any additional information and if there are any corrections to be made, please let me know.

Thanks for the update. I guess we'll have to hire an archaeologist to finally try to help us locate any graves on the old Hunt property, if it can be found. Maybe we can go back to look again after the snakes, chiggers and ticks go to sleep for the winter. Hope all is well with you and yours.
Hey Georgia Girl. I also live in Georgia and am a Frisbee descendant. I saw on your memorial to Edward Frisbie (1620-1690)that you are a descendant as am I. I also saw your lineage includes the Rogers. That is the branch of the family I am having the most difficulty with. If you could help any, it would be appreciated.

This woman is buried in Oconee Hill and I notice you are the "Caretaker" for her. Can you please look at the picture of her tombstone and check that death date. It is transcribed as 1981. With her being born in 1851 that would make her 130 when she died. Bowdens are long-lived, but I haven't run into one quite that old before. Making the photo as large as possible. I THINK the date is 1931. Can you please see if you agree.
Thanks for all your hard work.

Thank you for your information on Thomas Harris, 1616- 1672.
He is my 9th ggf I believe. I'm pretty sure he is the same one I have in my Ancestry.com tree, as all details seem to match. I am wondering whether you have discovered when the Harris family emigrated from England to Virginia, specifically the Isle of Wight.
thanks for your research - it is wonderful to discover!

Please contact me! I would love a photo of the Fort Creek area. I live in Atlanta, and don't get to that area much. I think Ft Creek is where the plantation of the Wallaces was located. I have a deed. I have a historian friend in Savannah that says John Sr, his wife, Mary, and John Jr. are buried in Old Colonial Cemetery. I also have a photo of the will of your William Wallace. He was quite wealthy too. I am directly descended from Jesse Wallace. Maiden name is Wallace.

I have information on John Wallace Sr. He was my 5th ggf. I have copies of his ca. 1815 will photographed at Hancock Co. courthouse this spring. It since burned down with all priceless deeds and wills in it.
Thank you for the transfers of Isaac and Pheobe!
