Bio Photo Your tombstone stands among the rest;
Neglected and alone.
The name and date are chiseled out
On polished, marbled stone.
It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn.
You did not know that I exist
You died and I was born.
Yet each of us are cells of you
In flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
Entirely not our own.
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
One hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
Who would have loved you so.
I wonder if you lived and loved,
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot,
And come to visit you.

"Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. The goal at Find A Grave should not be to manage all of your family members. If you have information to add, you should suggest it to the current manager and they should make the changes."
~Jim Tipton, creator of Find A Grave.

We have been researching for a couple decades. Families: Buckmaster, Patterson, Wollam, all variations of Teatsorth, Falk/Faulk, Johnson, Lee, Collier, Eschbarger, Orr, Brinton, Thomas, Grau, Hyde, Case, all variations of Brandeberry, Richcrick (Reichenbach), Slote, Balken, Ulmstead, Flower, Dick, Graham, Hyatt, and many more.

Also a focus on those who have fought for and kept us free ~ our American veterans. We have a virtual cemetery for these units: 31st and 49th Ohio Infantry who fought during the Civil War.

I'm so glad you sent me a message . The maps are wrong this cemetery is located off of 800 west I believe the first house on the left. you have to drive between the house and a barn you will see a drive I have been trying to contact find a grave maybe you can help they have spelled Carleton wrong . I contacted someone about trying to dig up the head stones because so many are buried the gentleman said he would love the help. I never in my life thought of doing this but I'm so fascinated by this cemetery. I would love to stand all the stones up and clean up this cemetery . Anything you can do to help . It's very time consuming and it's all volunteer work . Also as I mentioned will you help me contact find a grave about the name Carleton not Carlton it is named after the dr. Who is buried here.

You asked me if this could be a duplicate, but you didn't give me another memorial number to compare it to. I did a name search and did find another memorial.

When a person is entering memorials in a specific cemetery they aren't required to search the whole site. A duplicate memorial with a correct known burial location will always be preferred over an unknown burial location. If a member doesn't update a memorial to the correct burial location within thirty days, then that memorial will be the one deleted, even if it was created first.

RE: Augustus Niles - 28410720
I actually came across his information while researching his wife's family in Allegan County.

1850 US Census: Wyoming, Kent Co., Mich
birthplace listed as Vermont

1860 US Census: Byron, Kent Co., Mich
birthplace listed as Vermont

1870 US Census: Waverly, Van Buren Co, Mich
birthplace listed as Vermont

1880 US Census: Chestonia, Antrim Co., Mich
birthplace listed as Vermont.

Augustus has a brother Thomas L Niles (b. 1832) is also listed as being born in Vermont.

Also found Vermont on his death record in the Michigan Death and burial index.

Hope this helps.

Hi :)

Re: Eva Buckmaster, you asked if this could be a duplicate, but didn't give me another memorial# to compare it to. I did a name search and don't see another one.

Let me know if you're seeing something I'm not.
