RE: CUMMINS, John
Are you talking about John Cummins b: 22 Aug. 1783 North Carolina, USA
Death: 13 June 1868
Jackson County, Tennessee, USA.
Find A Grave Memorial# 116240243
SORRY! I didn't remember to send the memorial # to clarify.
I see you have a lot of memorials of CUMMINS in Indiana; are those related to the above John?
I am researching John's sibs...I am a descendant of his brother Alexander Gray CUMMINS. Have some letters written in the 1800's by one of John's sons that I am currently working on.

According to their family Bible, John died on the 18th of June, 1868.
Sorry for the typo; I do appreciate your interest in supporting the preservation of our ancestors.
I am a descendant of this man's brother, Alexander Gray CUMMINS.

The caretaker of Mt. Carmel finally called back. He directed me to a website for Madison County Cemeteries. The address is:www.cemeteries-madison-co-in.com. George and Lucinda are mentioned at the bottom of the Mt. Carmel page, in the list of all the people buried there. I have sent an email to this website asking if they know exactly where they are buried and if their graves are marked, because I could not find them. I will let you know when I find out more.
Respectfully, Rebecca Church Bodell
