Bio and Links
Bio Photo This has been my hobby for over seven years, started long before I discovered any websites for posting them.
I find myself concentrating on the older, broken, unreadable tombstones, the ones that, because of layers of mold, lichen and grime, are so obscure that people tend to walk right past them. I get more satisfaction uncovering a lost individual's stone than I do photographing huge monuments that will be around for a thousand years and those more modern ones of the men whose bones have partially disintegrated while still clothed in the everlasting polyester suits that they were buried in!

I forgot to ask if you could add the newspaper name and page to the description box when you upload it, if you know it. Thanks! Yes, tragic story.

RE: Mary Dalzell
When you add an image there's a dropdown arrow next to "type of image" that asks if it's an image of the grave, the person, family, or other. Grave is the default (if you don't select something else). If you choose OTHER then you'll be fine.

RE: Mary Dalzell
It's only because you must have selected the gravestone option from the dropdown. It's ok if you select other, and I would love to read the article. Will you re-post it? Thanks!

Cheryl, hi. When you fulfilled my gravestone request with an image of a newspaper article, it removes my gravestone photo request and I can't request it again because Find A Grave believes it has been fulfilled. Are you able to delete the photo and add it back as an "OTHER" image type (using the dropdown) so I can resubmit my gravestone photo request? Thanks for finding the article. Unfortunately it blocks my other request though. Thanks!

Thanks for finding Pat's resting place and taking such a great photo. I have removed my memorial for him. Best wishes.

The family picture at the above postings is better than the one I have. Is there person available who could email me a copy. I am the grandson of one of the other siblings in the picture.
