I began visiting local cemeteries for my family history and quickly changed to photographing as much of a cemetery as I could and posting the photos or entering a new memorial if there wasn't one before. I hope to help those looking for their ancestors, and also to preserve and document the gravesite. So many stones are deteriorating rapidly, and natural or man made catastrophes are endangering some cemeteries. It is vital that we preserve this information for future generations. I also find it very peaceful to walk in our local cemeteries, and a connection in knowing that many years ago they walked the same ground and lived their lives here.|
If I have maintenance of a memorial that is related to you and you wish to manage it, please do not hesitate to let me know and I will gladly transfer to you. I believe they belong with family.
Feel free to use my photos as long as it is for family history or genealogy related matters.

many thanks for sending me the edits for William S. Sebor. I did not know that his memorial had been transferred to my care. I will add a sketch biography soon.

|Donna Lyle Alumbaugh||Thanks|
Hi, thanks for beautiful photo of the headstone for Ezekial and Eunice Rackliff. Also the corrections. Appreciate it very much. Donna
Thank you so much...nice to work with such prompt and kind contributors! Cheers~ Shirleen
Hi: It's been years since we talked - you put some photos on some of my old memorials... I am sending you several edits, to fill in the blanks, on your Crowfoot family at Middlesex, Connecticut. Ephraim married into the Whitmore family, which I have researched quite a bit.
All the vital data is from marriage, birth & christening records, death & burial records of Conn., etc. I will not send anything in a grey area, but use what you want & reject any you don't want - won't hurt my feelings at all...Cheers~ Shirleen

Thank you for taking the time to fulfill my requests for pictures of Edgerton family grave stones in Indian Hill Cemetery. I appreciate your help very much.
|Randy Colter||Elizabeth's transfer|
Thank you very much for Elizabeth's transfer, I appreciate it. If there's ever anything that I can do for you, please don't hesitate to ask.

That's extremely nice of you, I'd be honored to manage her memorial. Her husband Mark and I were good friends at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft in Cheshire, Ct. for years. It was a very sad time at work when Mark became ill. He was the type of individual that you just immediately liked.
Again, thank you very much for entrusting me with managing her memorial, I sincerely appreciate it. I promise to take good care of both of their memories.
I trust your Christmas was all that you hoped it would be, and that you have a very happy & fruitful New Year.

Hello, I found out some time ago that the wife of a friend of mine had passed, and I sincerely appreciate you posting her memorial, and posting the beautiful photos of their stones. I researched Elizabeth Lyde # 108733263 and found out some information that I hope you find useful. Have a wonderful rest of the weekend, and thank you very much.
|KAG||RE: Thomas Gallagher|
Thank you for your help with this. I was just starting out on findagrave and made errors. I'm learning though.
Thomas and Bridget Gallagher were my grandparents. Anna Arrigoni and Lenore Towner were my aunts, and Everett Towner was an uncle by marriage. Neither of the aunts had children. For that reason, I would be happy to take care of the accounts of all five of them if you are willing to transfer them to me, and I'll make the corrections necessary. Please let me know if there is anything else I need to do to make this happen.
Thank you so much for the work you've done in St. Mary's.
