The headstone's design looks a lot newer than 1906, or even 1916. I'd guess it was bought when Kittie passed, or possibly even later. I can also assume the date is wrong since he is definitely enumerated on the 1910 census (the age would be right as well). I've looked around some online newspapers and can't find anything on either of those years. I'll have to dig further! I'll let you know if I find out anything! Thanks for letting me know!
