My husband and I began our genealogy research about 14 years ago when we each were given "family trees" started by others years ago. It was apparent to us just from reading this information that it could not all be correct. It wasn't. We have since corrected the errors and added thousands of members to our family tree. The Find A Grave web site has been a tremendous informational source in our research.

Our goal upon retirement is to research cemeteries while traveling to complete some gaps in our research and to perhaps aide others in theirs.

Hi Karen.
My husband, David (son of Clarence Beaman, Jr. Knoxville, TN) has a cousin Henry Walker (son of Clara Jean Beaman Walker CBJr's sister) who has volumes of info about the Beaman family. There is also a genealogy book which researches & compiles the Beaman family info as far back as the 1600's in England. I'm not in proximity to this book right now, so I cannot verify the 1600 date, but I think I'm accurate, & it is a wonderful & really complete record of the Beaman family. If you aren't familiar w/ this book, when I return to it's proximity, I can give you the ISBN # so you can order if you like.
Blessings,
Susan Beaman

Clinton Beaman
Karen,

I live near Cataract, Indiana. I looked for Clinton's grave marker, but there is none. I talked to Warren and Becky Beaman who live in Cataract. Warren said Clint was his Great Great Uncle. He also said there is no marker other than the small metal one the funeral home puts on new graves and it is now gone. He told me that he was buried close to other Beamans which is the first and second roll of monuments in the tree shadow of the picture I uploaded on Clinton's memorial page. Warren and Becky are curious about your relationship to Clinton and where you are located.

Beaman Family
Hi, My name is Terry Meredith and my family lives in Cave Springs, AR. My Great-Grandmother was Myrtle Agnes Beaman Lane, daughter of Dr. Marion T and Mary Ann Phillips Beaman. Mary Ann is buried in Elm Springs, AR Cemetery just a few miles from my home. Also, her parents, Milton and Mariah Phillips are buried there. Milton was the son of Jack and Sarah Quillen Phillips. Is this some of your family?
I would like to hear from you and know where Marion T.'s parents are buried.

Baley Beaman
Karen

I should have read the info you included on the findagrave site a little closer. I see he WAS married to Iva Young. Iva is buried with a daughter, Gertrude. Would this child be Baley's? Do you have his complete death date?

Any chance Baley Beaman married Iva Young in Monroe Co., IN? Iva's obit lists her name as Iva Young Beaman.

Curious.
