I was born in Gadsden, Alabama, in 1981. I currently live in Bettendorf, Iowa, with my wife Cheri, my little girl Chiane, my monster boy Ian, and a dwarf hamster named Kreacher. I'm an amateur actor, and sometimes professional theatre technician. I'm an organizer and writer/director for "Forget-Me-Not: Victorian Day at Oakdale Memorial Gardens", a biannual living history event in local historic cemetery.
I'm also a genealogy buff, researching the following families:
Crow/Crowe, Couch, Oliver, West, Fenn/Fann, Humphries, Fleming, Scott, Petree/Petri, Mayer, Zimmerman, Smith, Sevier/Xavier Goode/Good/Goad, Ray, Henry, and McKeme (?) in the Southeast U.S. (AL, TN, NC, GA, VA, SC, AR) New England (PA, MA), England, France, Germany, Scotland, Ireland, and Spain.
Hatton, Doyle, Green, Fritsch, and Thomas in the Midwest (MO, IL, KY), Virginia, Ireland, and Germany.

I am new to this grave site thing. Doing family history. I found where you listed my great great grandfather in McCauley Cem. I have relatives in Gadsden and they say the cem. is near Nacolula Falls but nobody knows where. Could you give me a road or directions to how to get there? Florence was a first cousin to my GG-Grandmother, Jarucia Paralee Ashley Stanfield. Their Fathers, William Ashley & John R. Ashley were brothers.
My Grandmother, Atha Johnny "Tuggie" Gober Lewis, was a Granddaughter of Jarucia Paralee Ashley Stanfield. She was close to cousin Curtis Fleming & wife and had told me back in the early 1960's of William Ashley & John R. Ashley being brothers.

Hi Dustin - I was wondering if you have any information on a Charles Johnson that was buried in Coal Valley, Ill 12/24/1924 was he a patient at Watertown Mental Hospital in 1917 - ? He was my grandfather. He emigrated to the United States in 1910. His name then was Leib Stracher. His father, Wolf, changed the family name to Rich after coming to Rock Island, IL, where Louis's mother, Rachel Filer, had relatives. Oscar Mayer purchased Louis Rich, Inc., in 1979. I have two photo requests at Oakdale Memorial Gardens in Davenport which I have confirmed by telephone with the office are indeed interned there. They are my great-great grandparents, Thomas and Jennie Beal. I stopped once in the middle of the night as I was driving through but had no luck. (I live in Pella which is in South Central Iowa.)
