Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a retired professional aerial photographer, and served the federal government as an aviation inspector, retiring in 2003. In legal terms, photographs are copyright protected, but this bio is your authority to use my Find-a-grave photos to share with family and use for purposes of genealogy without compensation.
For transfers, I try to follow the guidelines established by Find-a-grave. That is parent, grandparent and great, great grandparent. and child, grandchild and great, great grandchild. If you request a transfer, you need to identify your relation to the deceased
I am really enjoying working with Find-a-grave doing photo request for this area. I also plan to travel frequently walking cemeteries around the country fulfilling photo request in areas where nobody is doing it.

W. Barzilla Green
I just noticed that I have duplicated a memorial for W. Barzilla Green in Shiloh Cemetery, De Ridder, LA. I have a bio written and have linked him to his parents. He is a great uncle. I am willing to delete mine if you will link him and copy the bio. If you prefer not to, I would appreciate you deleting yours. Let me know, please. thank you. Elsine Goodman

Lee & Allie Spears
Lee,
Thanks so much for taking the photos of the Spears family and for making the links and edits. Thanks for all your work and the great photos that you take. I am trying to get this family linked and will probably send more edits as I get time. Will try to space them out so as not to be so many at one time. Nelda Click

Burkitt W. Lindsey #7011152
I see the problem; the digits 3, 8 and 9 all look so similar, they're almost impossible to decipher. If you subtract 85 years, 9 mos and 23 days from Aug 1, 1894, you arrive at Oct 9, 1808. I too misread the numbers, in previous msg. They must be 85 yrs, 9 mos, 23 days to reach Oct 9, 1808. Even if one disagrees with the digits, 1808 is still correct. Sorry for all this confusion on my part! Gloria Reck #47206933.

I have just posted photo of his tombstone. If you subtract 85 yrs, 8 mos and 28 days from his death date in 1894, you arrive at birth date of 9 Oct 1808. Please correct his birth date on #7011152 to read 1808. Thank you. Gloria Reck, #47206933.

I believe someone has mis-read Burkett W. Lindsey's tombstone. (His name was spelled Burkett, but may have been spelled Burkitt on tombstone.) He was born 9 Oct 1808 Christian Co. KY, not in 1809. Could someone verify the date of birth as shown on his tombstone. He was most certainly born 1808. The Lindseys buried in the Lindsey Cemetery near Dry Creek, Beauregard Parish, LA are my close cousins.

RE: Luther & Bernice Taylor
Lee,

These were 2 memorials I had done with no cemetery.. most likely associated with a memorial I was working on.. Rev. Taylor was brought to my attention by a 3rd party,, most likely scouring my memorials as I see no additions from that party on your memorials. I assume that they were a part of a xls submission..

In anycase, I did not see any additions on yours when I confirmed the duplicate pointed out to me so I thought I would ask you outright.. If you want these,, go ahead and copy the information to yours and let me know,, I am happy to delete these two on my end once you make the switch..

Kind Regards,
Mike
