Bio Photo I'm retired been working on geneology for a short time and was told about Find a Grave by a friend. So I began searching cemetery's and have added most of the information myself on my family. It is good to know that it is now available for others to find.

D S Key FAG#6641689
Hello,

I believe this person and Find A Grave #10496319, Peter Stanfield Key are the same person. They both died on the same day and served in the same unit. Co H, 34th Virginia Infantry. And the roster for that unit does not list a D S Key. Only a P S Key. I think the P was entered as a D on the burial register. I have attached the relevant records to support my belief.

I am more than happy to email you the records that support this.

RE: Richard F. Tisdale
Thanks, Jim! I'm not sure what happened to the photo of Mr. Richard's headstone, but I love the photo you added. I forwarded a link to his daughter so she can see it. Again, thanks so much!

Hugh Sparks in Woodlawn National Cemetery
Thank you for the photo of Hugh's grave marker. He was a confederate soldier who died at Elmira Prison Camp, so it was nice to find this memorial and your photo. Keep up the great work!

Madison Keaton - Woodlawn National Cemetery
Hi Jim,
My name is Sandra Overly Lee and madison Keaton is my gg grandfather. I want to thank you for the posting my gg grandfather's marker. Like so many others, I appreciate the act of kindness you provide for those of us whose ancestors are buried so far away. I would love to have a copy of the picture to post along side the photo of Madison's wife grave marker in my family scrapbook. Again thank you for the wonderful work you are doing and the great act of kindness you provide.

Warmest regards
Sandra Overly Lee

Dear Jim,

Your random act of kindness was a great surprise to me today. Thank you for taking a picture of Hosea FOWLER's tombstone and placing it on Find A Grave for all of us to share. It is not possible for everyone to travel to visit the graves of our ancestors, so this is very important. Little things mean a lot more than you think! Thank you for all you do.

RE: Blalock
Thanks. I'd found a website listing the Confederate soldiers there several months back, but my computer permanently crashed 2 moths ago, and I'm just getting around to searching for it again.
