Bio Photo I am a retired school teacher. I found Find A Grave by accident after discovering my mother's grave was added by another volunteer. My goal is to get photos of graves of all my family members on Find A Grave and to help others who live near me. We moved in June 2008, and FAG (visitng cemeteries) has been a great way to learn about my mother's home state. Photo taken with my two older sisters when I was about 6 months old!

my email is

My half uncle Doug appears to be related by DNA. My grandmother Virginia Hopkins had a son in 1947, where all DNA accounts that it is likely possible that the father is Grant.

So Iím searching in honor of people who have lived a life.

Not so much unlike ours...

Barbara, would you mind checking the Benders in the Byro Cemetery they are such a mystery. William Bender who was married to Maude Sherwood and the son of William Bender married to Sylvania Dunham. Both Williams died in the same year one in Lake Crystal MN and supposedly buried in the Byron Cemetery but I can find no records. They both died in 1896. So the next time you are strolling through the cemetery could you jot down any information, I so appreciate it and they are such a mystery. Thanks so much
