RE: Port Royal
Tony, I meant to ask you about Lewis Galdy. How did you get such a good picture? Either you are 7 feet tall or you had some scaffolding. I love that marker! I can just hear him down at the pub telling his story and probably getting lots of free beer!

Port Royal
Hi again Tony, I see you made a trip out to Port Royal. I hope you had a great time! Did you visit any other cemeteries while there?
Thanks for the improved photo for Capt. Hutton Dawson. I have updated the memorial based on your photo, including the year of his death.
Kind Regards,
Scooter T

It's alright, I figured that was the reason when you declined the first time which is why I added the death certificate. Elvira mentioned that she that she was quite poor in her pension application which might explain why she has no headstone there. The record is on the GA Virtual Vault website if you'd like to see it.

Thank you for what you said about the memorial I made for my Daddy. I wanted to do a good job for him, because he means everything to me. I appreciate that you said I did a good job.

Incorrect information on Burials
Tony, I KNOW EXACTLY what you are talking about(and who) and I do not think you are a "Nagging Nellie" I too, put in many hours, days, even weeks of research on my Family Tree and Memorials for my family so when I discover that some "glory nut" sits there in front of their screen checking the local funeral homes to see if anyone has died just so that they can beat the other "glory nuts" to making a new memorial, even denying immediate family members the chance to honor their dead, it makes me so mad! I feel that they are in some race to create as many memorials as they can without ever getting off their lazy old behinds and go out to the cemetery and take a picture of the grave/headstone it irks me something awful! And when THEY DIE without ever transferring the hundreds of memorials over to their rightful survivors, then we cannot update anything, link anyone, or even add more pictures and remove UNFLATTERING pictures of our loved ones! I KNOW who the two in my hometown are and have asked more than once for them to transfer my immediate family's memorials to me and still no response! UUURRRRR! One, a male has started to comply with my requests and for that I am grateful to him.

Hey Tony! How are you? Hope all is well.

I noticed you posted the memorial page on this guy.

Do you know anything about who he married and who his children were? I am finding that he may be an ancestor or the brother of one. Trying to disect as much as I can
