Visiting cemeteries is like taking a history lesson. Each tombstone tells a story and I find it very fascinating to read the stories and wonder what kind of life each person must have lived. I almost consider myself a professional grave hunter after working for a local funeral home and cemetery. If I can help you in any way with requests in the Lubbock area, please let me know.
My ancestry (mother's family) include the surnames of Franklin and Jensen (from Denmark...I can't find any leads on my great-grandfathers family from Denmark; any help would be appreciated).
My ancestry (father's family) include the surnames of Hennington, Moreman, Kennedy.
RE: William Keith Mason Thank you so much for the edit on my uncle! I am so sad to have lost him such a short time after my aunt. If you have time, would you mind changing the bio to "Keith Mason served his country during World War II." People called him Keith so William looks a little funny to me, even though I wanted to have his full name on the memorial. I appreciate your putting the dates in also. I do appreciate all your help.
RE: Lonnie Dee (L.D.) Briscoe I'm glad you didn't mind the info for him. I have had the same thing happen to me. I have begun putting who sent me the info and their # in the "note" area so that if someone has a question they will know who to ask about it. Have a great day! Tommye
Lonnie Dee (L.D.) Briscoe Hello, Monument Hunter! I am sorry to tell you, but you have the wrong parents for Lonnie. He is the son of George Washington Briscoe (# 14933013) and Mary Ellen Miller Briscoe (# 14933091). He is my husband's uncle--his mother's brother. His wife was Opal Cunningham Briscoe. Sorry to cause you a problem but I would want someone to let me know if I had an error (which I certainly have had) and hope that you feel the same. When I hear from the edit people, I will try to put in the new numbers if that would be better for you. Sincerely, Tommye
Masons I apologize for all the edits on the Masons that I sent to you! I just finally sat down and started to link all of my family together. I don't think all the edits went to you, but I'm pretty sure the majority did! I finally found my great grandmother's grave, and that spurred me to start linking them all. :)
