I was born in Memphis, TN, raised in Jackson, MS, and moved to Dallas in 1967.|
My father was Jesse Thomas White.
My mother was Clara Vanderberg White .
You are invited to visit their memorials to see their ancestors.
I am addicted to FindaGrave and genealogy research in general. I have had the good fortune to connect with a number of cousins through this website.
Most of my research is tracing family members in Mississippi.... Panola, Quitman, Calhoun, Yalobusha and Hinds Counties.
My Family Names: White, Vanderberg, Vanderburg, Potts, Jenkins and Hupperich.
My wife's family: Pitt, Sapp, and Newcomer's, mostly from Oklahoma, and Baldridge from Tennessee.
"I have never met a cemetery I did not like", and
"I can not go to a cemetery and take just one picture".
I am also a volunteer photo taker at Grove Hill, Restland and Oakland Cemeteries in Dallas.
If I have added one of your family members or family friends, let me know and I will transfer them to you.
A number of the pictures added and memorials created in the Memphis and North Mississippi area have been contributed by my cousin, Becky Vanderburg Abbott.
Any photograph I have added to any memorial may be used by the general public, without credit to me.

That is the name from her first marriage. Thank you for the photo. I would like to ask permission to use it in my family history, and on Ancestry.com. I would, of course, credit you with the photo.
Thank you for the work you do, it is appreciated.

No, not family or even an acquaintance. Just information from local funeral home. Thank you for offering.
|V Flesher||Mary Jane Ayers Thompson-Scallion|
I don't understand your statement that the spouse information on Mary Jane Ayers Thompson-Scallion is incorrect. Have you read the 1866 letter written by her father, Daniel Ayers? I placed much documentation on the memorial.
