I have added a new photograph of his tombstone.
|EmilyB||Nolan Hurd Lassiter Jr.|
Hi. Mr. Lassiter was my grandmother's nephew. Her name was Maud Tarpley Cummins and her sister Mary Audie was married to Nolan Lassiter Sr.
I cannot find any information about Mary Audie after the 1940 Census. I believe she died 15 Aug. 1974 but I don't know where she died or where she was buried. If you can hep me with this I would appreciate it greatly.

You're very welcome, Ben. It was truly my pleasure to photograph the Strawn's headstone.

You're more than welcome!

I see your conundrum. If you'd like, I'll gladly transfer my memorial #64643097 to your care. I haven't seen the gravesite myself, so can't attest to any close-by burials that perhaps may relate to your James D & spouse Elizabeth.

You are very welcome. Transfer has been made. This is a very well maintained cemetery in the middle of nowhere. Also, the rock fence surrounding the cemetery was very well built and in great condition.

You are welcome. I have just posted a photo of W Bevers located beside Annie. I think this is the WHT you are looking for. It is difficult to read, but the dates appear to match. Please advise if this is incorrect.

Unfortunately, I can't find anything to this point on Madison or Nancy Fields in Overton or Putnam County, TN. If I come across either of their burial sites (I'm now canvassing Overton County), I'll post whatever I find on Find A Grave. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
