"This is Me"

This stone can be found in the Mentor City Cemetery, Mentor Ohio. It is part of a family plot towards the back of the cemetery. There is a main family stone and than this one. It's not the prettiest stone by far but the guy had a sense of humor. I smile everytime I see it.

Now to more Find A Grave stuff.

You know what truly amazes mamaquilts, is the number of people who send her an email stating that the memorial she has created is a duplicate. Then it turns out that the other memorial is a duplicate because it was created after the one that Mamaquilts made. Mamaquilts does report people who purposely create duplicates.

Please use the Edit buttons found on each memorial. They do make is much easier for updates to be done.

Please use the EDIT button for memorial transfers with a statement as to why you want to have the transfer made (family member, friend, military etc). If it falls outside of the Find A Grave rules, mamaquilts has the last say as to whether or not she'll transfer. She is very accommodating with transfers.

Please remember that most of the people here on Find A Grave are volunteers and do have lives out side of this site. Please wait the 30 days for corrections to be done.

UPDATE: Please wait for the 30 days that is required for Find A Grave correction to take place. Mamaquilts does not live on this website and makes corrections on her time as it is permitted.

In March of 2014, Mamaquilt's Dad was killed in an accident. If you would like to visit her Dad's memorial you can find it here

Christine HREBIK Gulasy
Hi Mamaquilts! I found your entry for Christine Hrebik Gulasy when I was researching for our Family Tree. Christine is my nephew's great-grandmother. However, I can find no one in the family that remembers the name HREBIK. It doesn't even ring a bell. Can you tell me where that name came from? They have been to the cemetery and insist it is not on the headstone unless it is a new headstone. Thanks!

RE: Agnes Kane Murphy

Thanks for your reply. I would love what ever your family might have.

My mother, sister, and I just came back from Scotland. We actually stayed a block away from the street the Kane's lived on in Hamilton. We were able to see the headstone where Anges's mother is buried. The stone had mostly been washed away, but we were able to see KANE in the upper right hand corner. It was an amazing trip.

Thanks again,

Agnes Kane Murphy

Are you a relative of Agnes Kane Murphy?

She is my 2nd Great-Aunt, and her father (Dennis) was my 2nd Great-Grandfather. Agnes's mother was Ann, who was her fathers second wife. My Great-Grandfather (Dennis) was born to Catherine, Dennis Sr.'s first wife.

My Great-Grandfather came to the U.S., and lived in Colorado. He died in 1928.

Thanks for your time,

Michael Bennett

Highland Park memorials
Thanks for the transfer. Just to let you know...I recently was able to visit Highland Park Cemetery in Cleveland to locate the grave site of my 3X GGPs. In the process, I decided to photograph surrounding grave sites. Hence the numerous edits. Please know that I do check resources such as the original(microfilm) cemetery records, Ancestry, family trees on many of the edits I send. Others are obvious just by observing the markers, of course. Any concerns..please let me know and I will send specific sources if you wish.
