Bio Photo If you see I have made an error or would like additional information added to a memorial I manage please let me know. I try to be as accurate as possible, but sometimes records disagree or my fingers get ahead of my brain when I am typing.

I enjoy taking the photographs of cemeteries and posting them here at Find A Grave. Feel free to use my photos (only mine please) as you would like or if you would like a copy just email me and I'll see about sending one.

Please remember we are all volunteers and give of ourselves to add the memorials and photos that are listed. I do this because I like to help people, so when requesting corrections or additional information added please be kind.

Archablad Greene's grave stone
What a great job you did in finding the old stone grave marker for Archibald Greene. Also for the very good pictures of the "rock" which you added to his memorial. How sad not to have a grave marked. That which was believed to be lost has been found. You are the best Find A Grave member ever.

By the way
Thank you for taking the close up of the headstone, I changed the spelling of the name, but left the photo's the way they are.

So what do you suppose I do about the burial place? How is it to be known which rock is Archibald? Maybe an A on it?

Hi Aleta,
I will look and make sure that I have her in the right cemetery and if not then I will move her. I got this from a video that Edwin Greene did on the cemeteries in Watauga County.
As for the Isaac Greene and Sarah Estes Greene burials, I received a message from Diana B. saying this: Isaac Greene 82916082
Could you please change the burial information on this memorial to something other than "Burial Unknown". I have been informed that Burial Unknown memorials are starting to be removed from Find A Grave and I would hate to lose this listing.

I got to talking to Sandra Blankenship about it and this was her response.
I want you to study the census records well. And see if you don't think that Isaac Greene, Jr. isn't buried at Archibald Greene Cemetery. He just may be. In 1850 he lived next to Archibald Greene & it just may have been that he buried Sarah Estes Greene there. Think this through.

I wasn't sure what else to do. Any suggestions?

Hi Aleta -
I hope things are well with you and your keeping the relatives straight down in your area and in the cemeteries in Johnson County.

I was able to visit the Brownback UCC Cemetery on Memorial Day and place an American Flag on my 5th great grandfather's grave. John Fertig is my Revolutionary patriot for the DAR. This is my new updated photo.

Anyway, thinking of you, and wish you well...Pat
