I was born in Wisconsin, but have lived in the Nashville area for nearly 20 years. I am retired, but stay active with my daughter and her family who have recently relocated, and volunteering at a local historic home. |
My daughter has been tracing the family tree for many years and introduced me to Find A Grave. I find it peaceful to walk in cemeteries and take photos. I find it rewarding to know that I am helping someone connect with a family member who has passed on. I have met many wonderful people in the last couple of months and hope to have many more years of assisting others.
If I have created a memorial for a family member of yours, please feel free to request a transfer. I will add all the information I can, but I feel that family members should have control of the memorials.

May I use the grace photo that you contributed to the Find A Grave Memorial for Sylvester Straw, to post on the Vermont Civil War site? ( www.vermontcivilwar.org)
You will receive credit for this.
Thank you for your consideration.

Far too long ago, you wrote:
Please note the memorials I have added for the Slayden's buried near Campbell Slayden. If you would like a transfer of the memorials, please let me know.
I'm slowly working my way through the messages that have piled up. If you are not related to the Slayden's, I would be honored to look after their memorials and add any information I might have on them. The first one I came across is Emma Jane Slayden #76319843. If you haven't changed your mind or given up on me, do you need me to go through and find all the Slayden's you've created memorials for and request a transfer OR is that something you can easily do by looking at your file?
Thank you so very much.

Thank you so much for adding the pictures for my cousin and his wife! I was unable to attend both funerals and just noticed the pictures of their monuments today! Your work and dedication are greatly appreciated!

Thanks for the info on GGGG grandfather Capt. George Smith. I recently visited his son and grandson's graves in Benton county, Missouri.

I believe there are two Betty Eckhardt's at Mt. Olivet cemetery. There is Bettie, #86015851 and Betty Puckett (1877-1949). I've added a memorial for the second and I believe the photo on the first should be for the second. Thanks for your help!
