It has been a great pleasure sharing with people here, and finding our family! 2015 has begun with our reconnection to the Duhart family members on the West coast. We cannot wait to meet some for the first time and load the rest up with hugs. We could not complete as much research in 2014, but our desire to reach out and connect more family members is strong.

We welcome records from the Hectors, Odoms, Vinsons and Maddox families in Cleveland County, NC who are assisting us in locating our Native American ancestors. 2010 and 2011 were filled with reunions in Ohio, VA, South Georgia, and points west including the Stovalls in Seattle; Duharts of California; the Sims from Mobile, AL & the Davenports from Jacksonville and Pensacola, FL.

** Big Huggs to my awesome grave sponsors**

The respect and sharing of information, both from me to family members and others to my care has been a treasure.

Any and all disrespectful acts, deeds and demands will be handled appopriately as we are all volunteers, and contribute for the good of everyone and DO NOT serve at the pleasure single individuals who have emailed their transfer demands. If you do not follow the guidelines, and misplace pictures here, we are not responsible for those errors and misspellings.

Note: To the gravers who have copied the series of graves and not requested transfer, please remove them. If you are related to these persons and would like to oversee them, you can contact me here and I will reply ethically.

Clementa Pinckney
Hello Dee, I appreciate your email to me! I am transferring Clementa to you if that is ok with you, I think because you actually know him and wife that you would be a better manager of the page than I would. He seemed like an amazing person and I wish I had known him!

Your James Key is a different person than this Alphus James Key. Your's appears in the 1860 US Census with his parents, Rice & Sarah.

Nancy Key 7
Mary A Key 6
Rica Key 5
Sarah A Key 4

Thomas Key 2

Alphus James Key is also shown in the 1860 US Census with his parents, William & Mary. He too is living in Gilmer County.

1860 US Census of Subdivision 33, Gilmer, Georgia
William Key 45
Mary Kee 43
Sabra Kee 18
Ada Ophus 16 [Transcription error; this name should have been Adolphus Key, with Key repeating as the surname of the children following him.]
Aymey Ophus 13
Martha Ophus 11
Fanny Ophus 8
William Ophus 6
Nancy Ophus 2

Both lived in Gilmer County and both were close to the same age, but they are two different people.

First Baptist Cemetery in Lawndale, NC
There are 2 separate cemeteries in FindAGrave for the same cemetery at 129 Douglas St. in Lawndale. One has 6 memorials & the other has 21 at this time. You created 5 of the 6 memorials in the smaller one. Would you please transfer these 5 to the larger cemetery? I will sent this message to the creator of the final memorial remaining in the smaller cemetery, and maybe a duplicate cemetery can be deleted. Thank you.
