I had a person today that the above statement shows a bad attitude. Of course he had deliberately duplicated 13 memorials and refused to delete. FAG was notified! But the above statement is in compliance to Find A Grave rules. Sending a message on the message page is not the correct way to do it. I do not know who you are requesting and the edit box is one click away. We folks who place memorials here have done the work they want. Any others is on good manners to treat contributors the way you want to be treated.

Hoping you might know something about this cemetery. The headstone ordered for John M Gay who is buried there says Mt Zion Cemetery. Do you know if it was ever known by this name?
Thanks so much.

Brenda I know you have a way of finding things. I downloaded a picture of the Sheriff in in his uniform and its not the best. If you find one please post it and I will delete the one I have.

When I first posted it. Only 1955 was visible.

May I please use your photos of the monuments for Bernard Conaghan 62595661 and Jennie Conaghan 62595286. I just discovered they are a distant branch of my family tree. Thank you for your response and also for the work you do on Find A Grave. Those of us you can not get out appreciate your efforts. JoAnn

Hello, Brenda. Thank you so much for searching for a marker for James in Mars Hill Cemetery.
I am sorry you were disappointed. I have added a note with your findings to James' memorial.
Thank you and bless you for all you do. You are a true blessing to us researchers.

The cemetery James B. Everett is in, is the Everett Cemetery. It was surveyed in 1989. A cousin found this in a book in the Genealogical collection in Moultrie. This is my 3rd guncle. We had his marker repaired Jan. 2013 and are working on cleaning it.
In the process of relocating the grave, then Sheriff of Worth Co., Freddie Thompkins, helped us look for it. We all found the Hill Cem. then, which is some 400 yards east of the Everett Cem. I found the marker of Ms. Ossa Whearry there. All of these graves or most of them, had a Poteet Funeral Home marker. I called them. They have no list of who is buried there.
These are two separate cemeteries. With James is buried Fannie Pearl Mayo, dau of C.B. and A.M. Mayo, b/d 2-3-1918. The family of James believe his younger sister, Sarah Everett, Mrs. J.Williams is buried with no marker. She died 1859.
