RE: Rebecca Hamilton Wilson Memorial
Just saw this. Jave not been online lately. So glad you wrote. My yahoo says "experiencing temp difficulties " so I'll send e-mail tomorrow. It's late anyway and I have an early call. More soon, cousin. :) A

Nettie Pearl Conover
Nettie was my grandmother. My dad was Ernest A. Wendt. My dad died when I was very young and I am trying to piece together some family history. Are you related to Nettie?
Any info is greatly appreciated.

RE: Rebecca Hamilton Wilson Memorial
You are most welcome. She was my great-grandfather's, Dr. O.G. Wilson's, grandmother who cared for him when his mother died young.

RE: Samuel Shannon
The family I'm looking for is Thomas Shannon (born 1686) had a son named, Samuel Shannon Sr. born 1727 and then he had a son named Samuel Shannon Jr. born 1769.

Thomas was married to Eigness "Aigness" Reid. I believe they moved from Ireland and came to the U.S in PA. Samuel Sr was born in Lancaster, PA and he married Jean Reid in 1753.
Samuel Jr married Sarah (Sally) Kennedy in 1796 and they lived in Franklin County, GA. These are the Shannon's I'm looking for? Am I on the right track?

The Samuel Shannon that was born in 1780, I don't think he goes with the family that I'm searching for, right? I have seen on ancestry that someone had put 2 Samuel Shannons under the father (Samuel Sr) and they both were born in different years. That's what confused me.

Samuel Shannon
There's some information that is confusing me about Samuel Shannnon that was born in 1727. It says he had 3 boys. Thomas was born in 1753, James was born in 1757 and Samuel was born in 1780. If that is true about Samuel being born in 1780 then that means their father had to be 53 when Samuel (1780) was born and his brother Thomas was 27 and James was 23 when Samuel (1780) was born. Is this correct? I'm just trying to make sense out of all of this. I have ran across 3 Samuel Shannons and making sure I get the right one.

Otho Otto Rhodes
I have transferred Otho Otto Rhodes, memorial #65381263, to you. We prefer to transfer to relatives. I apologize for taking so long to do it, however.
