I did find the grave site (with some help I might add) and was curious, do you know anything of the husband and father?
|Donna Hawkins||King Cemetery Perry County Ar|
I am coordinator for AGP Perry County and received a email regarding this cemetery. I have not been there to photograph but was planning on doing so because of the email I received. Do you have any more information on the locatione or do you know if the graves are marked with legible stones? Thanks so much for your participation. Donna

Hello...my name is Thomas Hollis and Sam and Margeret were my great grandparents....my grandmother is Helen L. I was wondering how we are related. I was a young boy when both of them died so I don't remember much about them and my grandmother is not up to par on her memory. She is still alive at 89 years old. But the years have taken its toll on here...my father was Leon Hollis...anything you could tell me about them would be wonderful....thank you.
you can email me at email@example.com.
Thanks for you time,
Thomas V. Hollis

Thanks for the message Mamie!
I appreciate all you do here. I have just found out that not only do I have Brandons from John Adam & Emma Robinson (buried in Wortham Cemetery, I have his brothers Hugh Brandon, Charles L Brandon, L. B. Brandon, and Walter Brandon, and a cousin Rufus Lafayette Brandon. All of these Brandons were from the same generation and all of their kids & kin (minus a couple of folks in OK & maybe Ark and the parents who prob died in MO) are buried in TX.
Supposedly Charles L b1834 is buried in Iredell area along with most of his descendants (daughters married Cabler, Landroop, Morrow, Davis, Pollard, son Walter married Burns, two more sons Robert & John J married unk.) The youngest brother Hugh Brandon is supposedly buried in Throckmorton, and I am unsure of where the others mentioned are buried but they lived in Bosque, Meridian, Coryell, Lorena, Wortham, Tehuacana, Waco and generally central/NE TX.
Anything that sounds familiar please contact me on and we can exchange info.
Thanks and happy "finding!"
grgrgrand-dau of John A. Brandon

I notice you posted many Brandon markers and was wondering if you are related. I do genealogy and research the Brandons. I am stuck on a family in MO/Ark and trying to find the burial locations of some Brandons during or just after the Civil War.
I am hoping to find my greatgrandmothers grandparents John Brandon and Eliz Henson Brandon's burial sites. Their sons included Charles, Walter W., John Adam, Hugh, and Benton. I am also trying to find a relationship between my Benton Brandon (gravesite missing, last seen in 1870 Ark census) to another Benton Brandon in Ark who was son of Nathan.
Are you any relation to the Brandons at all? I would appreciate any help or ideas or contact info. If no relation, then thank you so much for your service to findagrave!
