I was always interested in history, and had a list of all my great-grandparents, I have memories of 6 of them. When my grandmother Marcella Schmeck Fegley was approaching her 97 birthday she started talking about her relatives and wanting to know something about them. So for her 97th birthday I presented her with her genealogy going back to the earliest settlers in Berks Co.,PA. She had over 20 ancestors serve in the PA Militia during the Revolution. Unfortunately records were lost so we do not know how many served in the Continental Army. We discovered her parents were 2nd cousins. Her mother came from a family of 17 kids. My grandmother came from a family of 12, 1 brother fought in WWI and 5 brother fought in WWII. After doing her family I started working on my family and found out my mother is my 7th cousin on my father's side. Most of my ancestors were PA Dutch and they settled in Berks Co after coming to America.|
If you are a descendant of someone I have added, I will gladly transfer any relative unless they are related to me. I will also add information if you send it to me.

I saw you took the picture of their head stone are you related to them at all? This was my Great Grandmother and Great Grandfather. My Grandmother was Helen Mae Davis Woomert.

Dear Ms. Wahrenberger,
I would like to know if you would transfer my Great-Grandparents Find A Grave Memorial to me?

Michelle, I believe that you and I are researching several relatives in common, as I've seen some posting on ?ancestry or roots web with common themes. We could discuss this privately if you'd like. (Keifer and Renninger are the 2 families in Berks County)
My latest research on the descendants of David Keifer and Susan Pennypacker has led me to
Clarence Richard Keifer.
Interesting item in that his Social Security Application, his Pennsylvania Death Certificate, his baptism record and his WWII Draft Registation - they all state his date of birth as:
August 18, 1891. But his tombstone is engraved as the year 1892. Interesting problem.
He was born in Reading, PA. His Father is listed as Howard P Keifer and his Mother Annetta S. Hungerford. His wife is listed as Ethel May Lessig Keifer. I found a Berks County Marriage application for Sept 11, 1917.
Children listed in the 1940 census are:
His father's Find A Grave Memorial number is #95312537
Hope I've been of some help to you as you've helped in discovering the burial location of Clarence.
