I follow the rules of Find A Grave dealing with Transfers. I will make an exception on a case to case bases. However, those who are rude, or feel they have some kind of right, need not request.

I hate perpetuating errors that eventually get accepted as facts. DO NOT send me a birth date that is only sourced from a census record.

Thank you to those who have left flowers for my 3 great loves, Dennis, Daddy and Momma .

Georgie Golden Trammell
Spilman Family
Hi Dawna
I am the Granddaughter of Eliza Zoe Spilman, who was the sister of Frank Don Carlos Spilman. I was working on Uncle Frank and noticed that you have a find a grave indicating that Madeleon Spilman was Married to Donald W. Spilman, Frank's Son, however the 1940 Census shows Madeleon as Frank and Violet's Daughter. Can you obtain clarification on the Find a Grave entry? Thanks Georgie M. Golden-Trammell

Another thing
That passport picture of Charlotte Hassell (Sr.) brings tears to my eye. When I look at Grandmother, I seee that Doug grew up to look quite a lot like his granny. And that look on Doug's face as a child is precious beyond words.

Apparently you had membership in one of the web services to have accessed that picture. Perhaps you can find this.

When Doug passed away, a picture was chosen for his obit. It showed a younger Doug with a big smile on his face, and with a bowtie. I cannot access that picture. Librarians have referred me to places that have microfilm copies of our "Providence Journal." Unfortunately I am a cripple with little access to my side yard, never mind anywhere else.

Is there a helping person who can chase this obit down? It would be a great addition to Doug's gravesite.

RE: Sternberg Photos
Very much my pleasure. I created most of those memorials and was surprised I had not already photographed them. I am happy it has helped you and you now know about Baby Jay. I did create a memorial of him. Happy Holidays. James

Thank you so much for the information you added to my family tree.

I started to work on my wife's side of the family on FindaGrave last night, as we are taking a family trip to New Orleans next week.

Now, thanks to you, we have some great additional information to talk about on Thanksgiving!

my relatives -- All!
Re: Albert DiMeo grave at St Anne cemetery.

Albert was my Grandpa, Giovanna, my grandma, alfred Amato my uncle and my aunt Marguerita. Ida was my auntie, "The best in the Universe!" and emmanuel my uncle. He passed away a month ago or so.

Ida, Margie were the Dimeo daughters, along with Michelina and Delia. Delia was my Mom. There were two DiMeo boys, Anthony and Bruno. With 10 or so cousins, what a madhouse and grandma's Christmas Day!

But we were all Italians; what did you expect?

Sorry for the typing., I am crippled with arthritis.

Douglas Hassell

I'm so pleased that I was able to give you information that you could use. You mentioned that you were doing a Hassell genealogy.

I came to Doug's grave out of an intense feeling of need to do so. What got you interested in the Hassell family?

RE: Louis Butler
Hi Dawna, I can't seem to track down Louis Butler either. I'm still trying though. :)

BTW, did you see I followed your request and added photos of all my Butler family to the memorials that you manage. It makes their memorial pages look great.

Thank you for your continued work.
