We did notice the improved state of cemetery - having tried to photograph some stones that were in the midst of some rose bushes and crawling under the low branches of a tree to locate John Richardson's gravestone.
It was a beautiful day there yesterday!

Hi Chris, thanks so much for the great photos. This was a very sad one … some of these families had more than their share of tragedy! Thanks again for the terrific photography. Esther

Thank you for looking, but I had already found the death record for Eva. I'm looking for the stepmother, Victoria, not Eva. They were sisters.
Eva Wilcox was Raymond's first wife. After she died of TB, he married her sister, Victoria Wilcox. Phyllis, James, Myrtle and Milton were borne by Eva. Then Raymond and Victoria had Clarence and Winslow.
I have asked the memorial managers for Eva to link her to Raymond and to list both wives. Also, I should have all 6 children linked to Raymond soon. But --alas, no Victoria. All I know is Victoria died sometime between the birth of Clarence, 1923, and the 1930 Census, when Raymond is listed as a widow. I couldn't come up with her death record on Ancestry. I appreciate your efforts. Diane

Hello Chris, Do you know where Phyllis's stepmother, Victoria, is buried? Diane

|E Malcolm||RE: Doyle Island Cemetery|
Hi Chris, made the correction to John A Doyle's memorial page, it now reads, died at sea. Do you know where? What a wonderful surprise to find that you had fulfilled all those Doyle Island Cemetery gravestone photos! I don't think either of us ever dreamed that they would be fulfilled due to the location of the Cemetery. Much gratitude is due to your sister, Phyllis and the gals that help them. They are amazing and I sure hope they know how much we appreciate all their very hard work of getting to the Island, cleaning all those stones and taking such wonderful photographs. Their efforts are indeed so appreciated by all us hard at work family genealogists. Thanks Chris for all you do, it's such a privilege working with you, even if you are family :) Esther

Happy to do it for you.

Yeah, her father's stone says "Dobbins" and I can find stuff both ways, it's hard to choose - haha! E

Hi Chris, this family is all over the place with this Dobbin/Dobbins. I took the Dobbins for Mary Ellen from the Cemetery Listing page. I will look for a birth cert. and if it's with the "s", I'll change the listing but if not it will remain. Esther
