Mary Freyenhagen, Saint John's
Thanks a lot for the transfer. I appreciate it.

(You may remember that we had an earlier correspondence about the Freyenhagens as well as the Remsens (on the back of the Freyenhagens' stone). Until I saw the 1870 Letter of Administration for Mary's sister Ann Whealey, I did not realize that William Freyenhagen, in whose household the Whealeys (wrongly spelled Whaley in the US Census) were living in 1850 was their brother & son-in-law. I thought the Whealey women in the Freyenhagen household were just lodgers because by the late 19th century Nassau Co. Censuses show lots of families with unrelated lodgers/boarders. But I guess in 1850 that was much rarer, and conversely it was much more common for older women like Mary's mother and sisters to be living with in-laws than lodging with a stranger.

Could you please transfer Mary Freyenhagan 41130516 to me 48224322? She is a relative, and I would like to make a few links and add a little bio.

Doug - I have no way to copy the stone on John's memorial. Could I ask you to please put the photo on Sarietta & Alex's memorial? I will now correct Sarietta's cemetery on her memorial. Sorry I asked a stupid question but I was unable to read the stone, even when I enlarged it. I appreciate what you have done & I do thank you. - Annabelle

Sarietta Fyfe
Is it possible that she is in the grave with husband, John M. Fyfe? I thought I could see 1827 on the gravestone of John M. Fyfe, which made me believe that she was there also, since she died in 1827. If this is true, could you please put the photo on her memorial also? Many, many thanks!
