I am a life long resident of Fort Worth, Texas. I have been researching my families genealogy since 1975.|
All of my memorals are my ancestors, or extended family. If you have any questions, or would like something added please feel free to ask.
I am researching FANNING GRISSOM LAWSON BRUSH and those associated on my Mothers side.
I am researching CLARK BUTLER HOLMSLEY KITTLE and those associated on my fathers side. All in Texas.
Please check out my TEXAS Confederate Soldiers. They represent every branch of my family.
A Poem I found on this site:
We are connected...my child and I...by an invisible cord...not seen by the eye...It's not like the cord that connects us 'till birth ...this cord can't be seen by any on earth....This cord does its work...right from the start...It binds us together....attached to my heart...I know that it's there...though no one can see...the invisible cord from my child to me......The strength of this cord is hard to describe...It can't be destroyed...it can't be denied.....It's stronger than any cord man could create....It withstands the test...can hold any weight.....And though you are gone...though you are not here with me....This cord is still there...but no one can see......It pulls at my heart...I am bruised...I am sore....But this cord is my lifeline...as never before......I am thankful that God connects us this way....A mother and child....death can't take it away!

Check out the Kissir Ferrel #60581618 this is the other half of this gravestone. The center word is "others" I am not sure what that means.

Thanks you for catching the duplicate memorial. I have deleted the one without the gravestone. I have checked my pictures and I do not have the full picture. Please request a picture and I or another volunteer will take it. Blessing...

Ms. Brown so sorry for putting that picture up on the wrong person. I've taken it down as you requested.
There are only two McGregor's listed in the Lee County Cemetery Book I. The one I posted is on page 153, he's in row 5. The other one is on page 144 and is in row 2, this person hasn't got a grave marker. The caption in the book says "McGREGOR, only name known buried here"

Hi Virginia! Actually, Harold lived about 3 blocks from me in Jacinto City where I grew up. I visited him quite a few times, and he would tell me some amazing stories from his life. I would go there to see his raccoon's and just have a good talk! I'm not related to them, but was just a very good friend. Harold would do anything to help someone else. He was a very warm-hearted gentleman. Thank you for your message and I wish you and your family many blessings.
